Hope this helps
Thanks again.
The LG unit is a Micro so not what we are looking for, however, will look into the TEAC unit.0 -

This site is about saving money. Thats what you can do if you already have a SKY system or Freesat and you want better quality digital radio. Sorry thats it obviously an unwelcome revelation to you, but its an undisputable fact.
I note your other anti-SKY posts. I am no fan of SKY as you can see from previous posts.Survivor of debt, redundancy, endowment scams, share crashes, sky-high inflation, lousy financial advice, and multiple house price booms. Comfortably retired after learning to back my own judgement.
This is not advice - hopefully it's common sense..0 -
Nothing against SKY, I'm on Sky Freesat with they're card, just don't like paying ever upward prices (saving money) to SKY. I really don't like the way you run down DAB radio. I've had it for 2 years & absolutly love it. This is my last post about the subject as I don't want a good thread ruined with petty arguments. As a matter of interest if you get a Free to View Satellite receiver there are thousands & thousande of Radio stations up there including SKY, & that makes SKY's contribution like a spit in the ocean.
Anyone wanting a DAB radio believe you me it is really good & the sound is also good, don't believe me!!! then just go onto one of the many HI FI manufacturers sites & see how they describe it, usually CD 'Quality' or similar, if that was a wrong description then one of several organisations would take them to court. The fact is DAB is BETTER than most people want or need.Nice to save.0 -
Hi,
Has anyone pruchased one of the Digihome DAB radios from Amazon? Does it have an AUX output, or is it just the headphone socket???
Many Thanks!0 -

Rez wrote:My wife bought me a DAB Radio for my Birthday last month and I must say it's been a bit of a bargain. Can't stop listening to BBC Six Music (just my sort of station).
Anyway, it's a Bush SYS4000DAB DAB/FM Micro System available from Argos for £49.99. Not bad considering it's got DAB/FM/MW tuner, CD Player, single cassette player. If it works, the link should be here

Like I say, so far, I've been dead impressed with it!!
Cheers, Rez
Here here, Rez -- I was also given this machine by my partner for birthday present last month, and am extremely impressed. It's a micro system, so perfect for the kitchen, and handy with CD player and remote as well.
Like you, we've adopted Six Music as our new home station -- so refreshing to hear loads of interesting and top quality music instead of the usual rubbish.
Whoever said don't trust Alba/Bush -- what a snobbish load of rubbish. It's not Sony, but it works perfectly, comes with a one-year guarantee and for a complete system under £50 you get far more than you pay for.0 -

I had an alba clock radio that lasted for 14 years, so they can't be that bad!0 -
Just found the Alba TRDAB2820 in Sainsburys at £39.99 (in white/blue)0
