I bought a nice little Bush dab radio which also had FM tuner and alarm clock facility from Makro for £29.99 plus VAT which is £35.24 in total.
I've tried it out and it works very well.
    Hope this helps.

Also got one of these last week, very good radio and a bargain at £35 considering the old model of this is still £55. Its the Bush TR2005DAB for those who want the model :)

I am looking for a 'Boom Box' style DAB Radio with CD Player. In addition it MUST have a clock with alarm.
    Any suggestions gratefully received.

I saw what you were after in a discounted catalogue that we get at work (although anybody can buy from them).

I shall look tomorrow, and repost when I have the information.

  • Hello all.

For those living in Manchester, there is the Sharp FV-DB2E FM/DAB radio for £35 from the Sharp outlet shop just off Oldham Road in Newton Heath.

Hope this is of use to someone. :j

Thanks Cromlech, hope to hear from you.
  • Hi All,

Was looking around in Comet the other day and spotted a DAB radio for just under £45 in Comet. It looks OK, details here:

  • Yes Currys at £35 and it's good.

Anyone found a cheap DAB with the "Pause Plus" function - to enable you to delay the radio signal slightly so that it plays in tandem with satellite TV broadcasts of sports events?

    Many thanks,

Where can I find a cheap quality DAB radio of standard portable size which includes all three LW, SW, FM ?

I think the phrase 'hens teeth' come into my mind. I've never seen one with LW and SW.

If they were to exist, my money would go on a premium model, a bit like the Sony or Grundig world traveller ones at £200+.
