VISTA PRINT free business cards - SCAM

I've also used them regularly over the last 3 or 4 years with no issues, but then, like others have mentioned, I an anal about reading the small print......Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Like many others I've placed loads of orders with them and been very happy, this 'rewards' scheme that comes up at the end of the order just needs a click in the X and no charge is made. It's because it say's 'free' and 'discount' that people click without reading.:beer:0

I like many other people have been scammed too - i never signed up for the discount scheme nor did i tick any boxes - yet i had £9.95 x 2 for 10 months taken out of my account - i tried to contact the two companies and got either an answering machine or no answer this went on for about 5 months, i contacted my credit card company who told me the only way around this was to cancel my credit card and have a new one issued then they would no longer be able to take any money - at the time i was stressed and irate as having to sort this out took me along time - i did get the money back and hasten to add i do agree they are cowboys - after having phoned my credit card company they told me 1000s of people were in the same situation as me and they have had to sort them out too - needless to say whether the cards are value for money or not i would not put myself through it again - as i wasted so much valuable time on sorting this lot of s**t out.2010 - Goals
1. on the long road to hopefully adopting a child - Home Visit 3 Feb 2010
2. Planning to clear my credit card debt.

The same thing has happened to me, I checked my cc statement today and saw the £9.95 and vprewards and i wondered what it was, so i phoned them and they gave me the same !!!! and bull story about vistaprint and another pop up when i ordered my business cards. They told me i had to write in for a refund and it was at their discretion. I phoned Barclaycard and they have refunded me, and i am still sending a letter in and thinking about reporting them to trading standards or similar!!!0

The "Rewards Offer" appears at the end of the transaction every time. The fact that others state they were certain they had not made such a selection bears witness to how easy it is to stumble into Vistaprint's cash generating shiester trick.
I too think it is a scam that a reputable company, seeking to please it's customers, would never attempt.
Personally, I have used Vistaprint for ages too and exploit their multitude of free offers to the full, I've ordered all sorts of stuff from them - But everytime I order, I make damn sure that I navigate carefully past their cash-trap "Rewards Offer" at the end.
Don't let 'em get away with it - now you are aware of the trap, do as I do and harvest their free offers....“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.
But when I got to be twenty one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.”
