  • hi sammie, glad to hear you had a good break!x
  • Hello All! Hope everyone is well!

just a quick post to say that our internet is playing up at home so cant get on and post:mad: . I had wrote out a really long one on friday and just as I was nearing the end-it wouldnt work:confused:

I've had withdrawal symptoms over the weekend:rotfl:

I'm leaving work in about 50 minutes as I have a docs appointment-Im suffering with lower back pain-which I think may be PGP. To be honest , I dont think there is much the doctor can do anyway, but its affecting my sleep, and im in loads of pain when im walking, sitting etc
Bump seems to be fine though-loads of movement and kicking-so cant really complain:D

I'll try update as much as I can, but apologize as I know it will jut be ramblings!

Barclaycard: Sent back- I have the money set aside to pay c card so will do that on sat-and cancel:j
Electricity: topped up with 20 -but think will need to set aside more as its getting really chilly! told oh last night to get the other duvet down from loft as we will be putting it under the sheet to keep it cosier and hopefully costs down...he had a dig about my MS ways:rolleyes:
Internet still hasnt been sorted. (this is OH's job-as he knows what he signed up for).
Went food shopping last mon-and only brought 40 (£20 from me and £20 from OH) and ended up spending £96!! (im not doing too good at this am i??)
In my defence (your honour;) ), we did buy our steriliser which was at half price, and a breast pump-which was also at half price-we were chuffed with these as we had literally had them in the trolley the week before!)
Had to cancel last week and this weeks driving lesson due to doctor's appointments-am hoping to get back on track soon as really want to get test booked-I've spent a shocking amount on lessons already-and OH thinks my driving instructor is taking the p!ss out of me-because im just not confident, but he thinks im fine and should just do it. Really want to do it while i can still fit behind the wheel!!:rotfl:
Me and OH are going swimming after my appointment-so will prob pay for that-seeing as he treated me to cinema and dinner last night.
Will make my lunch tonight and try get back on track!
Should be able to post a bit more from tomorrow...

Hope everyone is well...Gota rush for appointment now!
    xx

  • Hello All,

Well, I have sciatica (sp?) and as am pregnant theres not much I can do/take. Doctor prescribed me painkillers but am reluctant to take anything with bubs:confused: He also informed me thats its likely to get worse as pregnancy progresses due to bubs weight gain:rolleyes:
    11 weeks and counting!!:D
Didn't go swimming yest-as I have to relax as much as poss-and OH wasnt in the mood-treated him to chicken and chips as he brought me to docs (he was starving-as it was his day off yesterday, and doesnt seem to be able to feed himself when Im not there:rolleyes: )-So spent £7.00 (had a few chips myself before waddling in to the doctors).
I put my feet up when I got in-neither of us fancied making dinner-so OH drove to burger king-yuck, and brought me back milk, so i could have cereal.
I had actually defrosted some ham-so will have that for dinner tonight. Some salty ham, creamy mash and veg, with parsley sauce-yum!
Havent spent anything today-so think it will be a NSD for me:j
I will withdraw £300 from my account each day-so that I can pay my credit card in branch on saturday. I've tried to pay so many times online and it just returns:mad:
There is a car boot sale near ours on Sunday-so im trying to convince OH to help me with it before he leaves for work (he wont let me do it myself due to my back, but I really want to do it so can have cleared the flat!)
I've been so busy in work for the last few weeks but should calm down a bit from tomorrow-so hopefully I will get back on track with my piggyclicks and start getting bits done!
Im going to go nosey some of the other posts now-have a lovely evening all xx

  • hello all...

internet still not working at home...feeling a wee bit down at the mo-but trying to keep chin up-so thought I'd post a little rant-might make me feel better-who knows:confused:

Got blood test results over the weekend and im anaemic(I have been really tired, but put it down to lack of sleep due to sciatica and bubs kicking at stupid o clock), need to get a prescription as Boots pharmacist said they wouldnt give it to me until I had one-which is a pain as my docs is where I used to live-so its really out of the way for me to get to-but needs must I suppose!

Also, OH's motorbike was stolen at the weekend-we went to tesco on fri night-and got a few bits-got home 10.30ish and bike was there-parked up where it always is, and then sat morn he got up-went down to the car park and the bike was gone:mad: . He was gutted, and to be honest I am too-we have a car, which we can both use (well I only have provisional at the moment), and he has the bike-which he uses to get to work,as his work is totally out of the way with trains/ buses. Its also alot cheaper for him to run a bike than pay for train tickets etc.
So basically now he is driving the car-paying for parking daily, and trying to sort it with insurance-fingers crossed they will pay out soon-as we need him to have the bike if i go into labour. (I've 10weeks left)
He gets home in 20mins on bike-but is bout an hour and a half with car, and 2hours on train. Im so stressed over it-as have no-one else that can bring me-and really want him there. Im so annoyed at whoever took it-those people are scum  Also-they wouldnt have been able to just walk it-as its a heavy bike-and it locks after a bit-so they would have lifted it into a van
    Grrrr....

Anyway-spent a little over weekend-went to cinema with a friend on sat-as usually we are both stuck in-me being preggers and she's going through a divorce, so thought we could both do with a bit of time out of the house-and some company!

I've not paid c card yet, and doesnt look like I will get it paid this month-as Im going to need some money from the account that I've set aside for it-though Im trying to keep it to a minimum. fingers crossed ey!

On the upside-my mum is supposed to be coming over for a few days next week, and work have allowed me the time off:j . My mum has never even been outside of eire-so im really hoping all goes to plan, and she can get over-it will be so nice to see her-plus i've secretly booked a 4d scan for when she's over-so she can get to see her new gran-daughter :D:D

Anyway-gota shoot as I've loads to do before I can leave work-going to try be a good DFW this week and start recording expenditure again, and get some other bits done.

Wish me luck that I get a good run at it this time, as dont seem to be doing too well-but im trying-PROMISE:D

Have a nice evening all xx

  • Hello all,

Just getting ready to leave work so only a quick posting (not much to write anyway!!)

Have played the lotto for this week-wed and sat.
checked online account (185.34-with money still to clear-am unsure of the amounts-but know theres 42.00 for flight for my mum, and 25.00 which is the deposit for the 4d scan next week-think there are more-but not sure)
In my second account there is 898.75 -(i need 1044.00 last time i checked-so will have to get that from wages once im paid).

I've charged my phone at work.
    Spent about 4.00 on lunch.

I've a list of things to do tonight as follows:

    hang out washing
    do another wash
make dinner from food already in.
    make lunch for tomorrow
    make bed
    put away washing
    check electricity

Have texted OH to say im a bit fed up-and his response was that we are going out.
I know he is trying-but the last thing i want to do is get home and have to try to find something to wear, then sped money we dont have-and come home to a messy house. Then again-maybe it will do me good to get out for a bit!

    Anyway-off i go-have a nice evening all xx

  • Hello All,

As usual these days-I am rushing so it will only be a quick post.

My mums over tomorrow:j am so excited-she has never been outside of Eire before-and when we collect her-we will be going into London and having a 4d scan, followed by dinner and Grease at the West End-not a very Moneysaving day-but she deserves it-and I got the three tickets for cheap (£15 each) on lastminute.com. I've been lookinng for some dinner deals but havent found any-so we will prob just pop in somewhere!

I've been dipping into the credit card fund-and transferred some money so that I'm covered for the few days she is here. Will get paid on friday and put it on to card then-promise!

Me and OH tidied last night-and have put bits into the loft-and cleared room-so have a bag to give to 2nd hand shop, have already tried to sell them on ebay-but not sold-and dont have enough stuff for car boot sale!

Am feeling a bit better-have got my prescription for my iron tablets so hoping that builds me up a bit-and I'll have some more energy.
We have been buying bits and bobs for baby-and last night started to organise hospital bag, Nine weeks left on Thursday!!!

OH's motorbike was recovered during the week (the police caught the guys on it), they tried to run off-throwing the bike in the process and pretty much wrecked it. Insurance people are calling out tomorrow so fingers crossed they will pay out-and he can get another bike quickly. (I will feel alot better knowing he can get home to me quicker if i go into labour when he's not around)

Havent been spending much money as cant find anything to spend it on:o -nothing fits me -and have been so uncomfortable with sciatica and lack of sleep that I dont want to shop (I've lost my mojo:rotfl: )

OH and I went to a car boot on Sunday-and i bought two sanctuary bath sets for £5.00 that I will use in the hampers I'm doing for Christmas.

I've nearly finished one for my little sis-need to get a dvd, and pjs and then I've one done:T

Only 110 other presents to sort (slight exageration!!:D )

Got my phonebil through and it was £60.00-so a saving of £40.00 on my budget-that will go on cred card once I'm paid!

Anyway-best shoot now-have a driving lesson tonight-and want to discuss possible test with my driving instructor (dont think im ready-but cant leave it too late!!! )

Hope everyone else is well-I will try update on friday when im back in the office!

  • Hi Sammieb. I've just read thru your diary and will now subscribe to it. I wanted to let you know there's people reading it even if it doesn't seem like it. I often read diarys and don't post, I love them tho i'm a right nosy sod.

Hope your instructor gave you the go-ahead to book your test!

Have a lovely time with your Mum. Hope your back's better soon.
    Take it easy!

p.s... its a good job i read thru my post before posting it as where I'd put 'i will now subscribe' it said 'i will not subscribe' How rude :rotfl:
