 Hi Sammie,
Have you signed up to freecycle in your area yet? You could look for baby items on there or put a wanted post on there. That could help?
Also have you looked at the discount codes on here, you can sometimes find free delivery codes on here for Tesco again could save you a bit of money?** Karin **0 -

Morning All:hello: ,
Thank crunchie its friday!:T
Not been on since wednesday (ok i was but was reading other posts and too lazy to update mine! )
Applied for my theory test yesterday £30.00, so hoping I pass that-will have a weekend of studying the highway code methinks as cant afford to pay that out again! Really want to be driving before lo arrives-so we can have girlie road trips when oh is working:p
I relisted my items that didnt sell on ebay-(it was half price listing yest)So if they dont sell this time round then i will do a boot sale when OH next gets a weekend off)-and if they dont sell then, the Charity shop can have them!:A
I posted my letter request to my GP requesting a cert to advise I am fit to fly for the wedding at the end of the month (this was on the advise of the receptionist-but surely they would need to do a medical?-I will just have to wait for a response.
I had a LSD yest-only 89p-for single cream-as was making dinner for OH-creamy mash, cabbage and lovely salty bacon-was yummy!!
Will need to buy some lunch today tho-as OH ate the remainder of the mash that I had put aside for lunch (was guna have sausage, mash and onion gravy:mad: ), so will just have to get a sandwich:rolleyes:
Today i have to:
practise theory
TRY list books again on Amazon
Pigsback/quidco
Try find cheaper hairdresser (£130+for half head colour +cut normally:eek: )
Check phonebill so far (gulp-dont think will be good this month-oops!)
Book airport car parking through quidco
Still nothing from barclays re balance transfer card-but have moved the funds from my current account to my second account to pay it off-so wont touch them. Need to ring abbey also as have tried to make a payment 4 times now-from abbey current account to my abbey credit card, and it keeps returning to the account (and in turn i spend it!!)and no-one seems to be able to help-so im having to go to my branch on saturday mornings which is a pain!
Anyway, best make a start-happy friday all![strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Happy Saturday All:j
Hope everyone's having productive/NSD
Loads to do today (cant believe I spend all week waiting for the weekend and when it comes around all I have to do is tidy:rolleyes: )
Oh well-at least things are getting done ey!
Today's list:
Kitchen
1. Put away washing
2. Put on new wash
3. Wash delph
4. Clean fridge
5. Clean oven
6. Stock take cupboards
7. Wash floor
8. Sort noticeboard (all receipts, bills etc pinned to this)
Bedroom
1. Put away clean clothes
2. Check budget boxes (i have labelled boxes for electric, driving lessons, food etc so need to make sure there is enough til the end of the month!)
3. Wash bedding
4. Make bed
5. Sort drawers and boxes underneath bed (there are lots of stuff I cant wear due to increasing bump-so either store in loft or ebay)
6. Clear out wardrobe (again-any ebay items and also to search for any clothes that will fit now!)
7. Hoover
8. Clean window
9. Redo baby list (have been buying little bits so need to update this)
Hallway
1. Clean mirrors
2. Hoover
3. Wash floor
Bathroom
1. Clean bath/shower
2. sort toiletries to see what we need/dont need
3. wash floor
I also need to:
1. Collect trousers that have been left in to be altered (pregnancy is costly!)
2. List books on Amazon
3. Check ebay
4. Log in to quidco/pigsback
5. Drop old clothes in to second hand shop (have tried selling on ebay-no luck so someone may find use for them!)
Looking back over that list is making me think it should be a weekend list! Need to allocate some time for getting feet up and having a chat to bump:o
Hoping to have a LSD, though have to pay for alterations and also hoping to go swimming tonight (the pool near us has reopened and swimming is supposed to be nice when pregnant)
Still no word from Barclays re my cc application, and this morning Abbey sent me a letter to say they have changed my account to 'preffered in credit' as requested....fit to scream with this-as i asked for preffered in overdraft-so that i wouldnt be charged when im in it (as i currently am!! )-i wouldnt mind but i even called in to the branch to get this done-they are driving me crazy lately-have no end of problems with them-cant even make a payment from my abbey current account to my credit card-have tried four times now-all returned to account with the latest happening yesterday-and branch staff, current account advisors and credit card advisors all say there is nothing they can do and blame other department!
Anyway! off i waddle to start my cleaning!am sure I will be on later to check how everyone elses day is going! xxx:beer:[strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Happy Tuesday All,
Well I have to admit that I am struggling to stay motivated at the moment-I started off well with the best of intentions but am running out of steam already.:o
I've been reading everyone else's diary-thinkin 'oh they are doin great' and not wanting to update mine as nothing has changed-but having read some today I realise everyone struggles a little and its best to keep posting regularly...
Over the weekend I bought a slow cooker for £12 (brand new in box) at my local charity shop-along with a wrap top from Zara for 3.75-and a gorgeous brand new with tags, cardigan from Marks and Spencers (£4.00) -I know I'm supposed to be saving/spending less but I am really struggling with pregnancy and clothing so would have bought them full price if I went shopping!
I am hoping to make more yummy nutritional(and cheaper) dinners with the slow cooker and need to look for some recipes. Also, having read other posts, alot of people recommend them for new mums-so think this will help once baby arrives!:p
Yesterday I finally managed to list books on Amazon-though really dont think I did it correctly-i put in a price as if it were buy it now? (is this right? or is it an auction site like ebay?
I called my bank to ensure my account is 'preferred in overdraft' as i requested so that i dont receive charges when im in it-the advisor confirmed it was but told me to keep an eye on it anyway:mad: (either it is or it isnt??!! grrrr ... Abbey:mad: )
Today, some of my items ended on ebay (the ones i relisted) and no sales-so that was a waste! Will keep the items for car boot sale (though most of them are brand new clothes that I havent worn due to pregnancy so am reluctant to sell them at car boot as wont get much for them)
I need to do the following today:
check paypal
find cheap hairdresser for next week/wknd -(cannot afford £130+ on hair:eek:
Check pool opening times for tonight (need some exercise!!)
Book airport parking through quidco/pb
practise theory
order from tesco
Find cheap gift for friend who had baby girl (i need to post to northern eire)
I also need to add my signature (thought i had done this already!!)
Ok-off i go!:D[strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Hello all (ok, ok Hello ME
)
Tuesdays list
check paypal (done)
find cheap hairdresser for next week/wknd -(cannot afford £130+ on hair:eek: (found a home hairdresser who will do for £82.50 -so saving at least £50.00-every little helps!:D )
Check pool opening times for tonight (need some exercise!!)(went swimming with oh-think bubs enjoyed it too-and oh paid for me!)
Book airport parking through quidco/pb (booked through quidco £33.00 but got £7.00 cashback!:j )
practise theory (didnt do this-but have a good reason-my nanny was visiting so as haven't seen her in AGES, thought it would be ok to put off til another night!:o )
order from tesco (didnt do-but we went last night -wed and used voucher from NOTW)
Find cheap gift for friend who had baby girl (i need to post to northern eire) _-still looking-been looking at the hampers but will cost to post them:rolleyes:
Yesterday was a bad day as had woken at 4am during the previous night and having nightmares/sleepwalking (I do this when stressed)-apparently I was screaming, OH tried to calm me, then tried to get out of bed-and really hurt myself in process-have bruised knee, bruise on my nose-and bent two of my fingers on left hand-ouch-also landed on tummy when fell out of the bed-which wud be fine, if i wasnt 25 weeks pregnant-poor bump!
So woke late yest-rushed to get train, no time for breakfast or to make lunch so spent loads:mad:
Today is much better though-made my sandwiches last night-and just finished them, they were yummy!
I've received a text? from Barclaycard to say my application was approved-so will wait to see what they send through as they can send a diff offer than the one I applied for.
Also I have the total balance ready to pay off-so should i just pay off the abbey one and cancel or transfer to barclays and pay off? (Im not good with this sort of thing-hence the mess im in!!)
1 of my items sold on ebay-but havent charged enough postage, and the item went for 10.00 less than i paid for:mad: (no more wasting money for me after that!)
Have packaged some choc for my sis in australia-its her bday and have sent her a card and some cadburys -its not much-but I always buy family loads and never receive anything back-so need to start saving for my own little family-and not be so generous and giving! Will need to post that later today.
I've joined some baby sites so that I can receive samples and freebies.
I'm charging my phone in work
Got to check quidco and PB
Check o2 (phonebill due on sat-gulp! )
OH is taking me out straight from work later-as have been feeling down, and missing out on nights out/seeing people-and also he been slacking a bit with relationship-so is bringin me for dinner and a show!:j I'll only need to pay for travel,so should be a LSD for me!
Have a fab day all xxx[strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Happy Friday!!
Well last night was fab-lovely dinner before going to a show-was nice to spend quality time with OH,but a little tired today-am not used to going out on a school night!:D
Only spent £7.50 on parking so LSD (ish)
Have received my tesco clubcard yest so will be using that in future-and received a few vouchers-only £2.50 worth but something is better than nothing!
OH is off today so has gone down to local charity shop and bought a baby monitor (£25) that I spotted last week-its a tomme tippee and retails at £100+ -so a bargain-plus he has paid for this baby item:T
Have to buy some lunch today so will be spending money and also need to post sisters item to australia-this will cost me loads no doubt:rolleyes:
We are spending the weekend with the in-laws, bbq (weather permitting) tomo, so hopefully wont spend much over the weekend-though would love to be at home getting more bits sorted for accounts, ebay, car boot sale-im turning into a nerd!!

Oh monday again!
Weekend was lovely and relaxing!
Didnt spend too much-£6.00 in Lidl buying bread rolls, and last minute bits for bbq-not bad as everyone else bought the meat, salad, drinks etc! Havent been in Lidl before, so me and oh going to go there for one of our weekly shops as they seem to have everything we normally get in tesco's-except cheaper!!:j
Went to car boot sale yest-and saw a gorgeous crib £25.00 -and OH bought it for me!its a swinging one-and bigger that the moses basket-the lady gave it to us for £20.00 -and will sell it ourselves once she grows out of it-so feel like we got a real bargain (cant wait to see her in it!its beautiful!:D )
We have now bought a moses basket, crib and monitors for a fraction of the cost- OH wants to buy some new stuff now-but im loving the challenge of finding bargains and saving our pennies!
Made my lunch for today last night-had some salady bits that needed to be used-so made some for me and OH-tomatoes,cucumber,cheese,spring onions, peppers, carrots-also brought a mini tin of tuna and some crackers-so no spending on lunch today!!
Really want to get sorted this week-and bring lunch all week-as have to pay for hair on saturday, and any spending now will be coming from overdraft. Got to be disciplined!

Hello all,
Well its 18.18 and am still in work, been quite busy in here today so need to stay behind to lend support on phones etc (am a p.a but all us ladies help each other out). Was spposed to be going swimming with oh but now he will go on his own. (didnt take much persuading!)
I made our lunch again last night-pasta with homemade sauce (which consisted of red onion, garlic, peppers, mushroom and tinned tomatoes, and chucked in chorizo that was ready for the bin!) was really tasty-except OH informed me he 'forgot' his:mad: .this is the second day in a row that iv made it and he has 'forgot'-i think he is embarrassed to bring it in-but wish he would say so, then I could freeze for a another day for myself! He doesnt get this whole MS thing-he thinks im crazy at the moment! :rotfl:
Havent had a very money saving day:o i bought a bag that i wanted for the wedding next week-£22.00 (gulp) but have transferred 40 from my ebay profits to my account so should cover this! Also hae two pairs of diesel jeans that i bought and had altered-but when they were altered i didnt like the shape of either of them-so will try sell these-will list them tomorrow.
I have received my barclay card pin but not the card yet? so once i receive it I will do a balance transfer.
My phonebill came through for 80.03 -had budgeted for 100-so saved 20 (even though know its really high), so will decrease my overdraft by 20 once i get paid next week.
Have been reading up on the old style board and found a Christmas forum-so decided to try get organised for that too-Im due bubs on the 28th so may possibly go over and i know that the last thing i will want to do is go shopping in the festive craziness once she has arrived!:D
I've already got some bits, little lotions and hair stuff I've never used that I was going to give to 2nd hand shop-but have decided to try make up some hampers instead (have 5 sisters so am sure they will go down well with them).
Going to get organized for that later-set aside a 'Christmas box'. :j
I've done my piggy clicks today
signed up for boyle sports (had to deposit £10-will need to read up on this later-not good at betting!!)
signed up for some baby freebies-from freebies board
printed off some traffic signs for theory practise
Im hopefully going to try leave soon. takes an hour to get home so will be 20 to 8 before get in if i leave now-and im a tired wee bunny!
Have a nice evenign all xx[strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left
