I would like to nominate Ehallett's 'payment a day' thread. There are over 50 posters on this thread now making a payment a day towards a debt/savings/xmas etc...most of us can only afford £1.00 a day but it's quite motivational paying that quid over and watching the balance go down slowly. Shows you that instead of buying a magazine or two a week, a definate difference can be made to our debts!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

I would like to nominate this thread too. This thread has motivated me to pay extra towards a small debt which I have only been making nominal payments too, and its coming down now! I have found some of the other threads setting challenges a little hard as I cannot afford some of the goals set. This challenge does not specify an amount, and as such is great for people like me!96 items decluttered so far in 20130 -

I would like to nominate this thread too. It has helped me to really focus at a time when I was feeling quite unsure about the best way to proceed.0 -
