I would like to nominate Ehallett's 'payment a day' thread. There are over 50 posters on this thread now making a payment a day towards a debt/savings/xmas etc...most of us can only afford £1.00 a day but it's quite motivational paying that quid over and watching the balance go down slowly. Shows you that instead of buying a magazine or two a week, a definate difference can be made to our debts!

i would like to nominate this thread as well

I also think ehallett has come up with a fantastic challenge here, and something that we can all do. Not just coming up with the idea, but her continued support to everyone else on the challenge is fantastic. Thanks for the motivation Emily!

Another vote for the Payment A Day thread here. It's really inspired me to start chipping away at a debt which was only coming down by a small amount each month.

I would like to nominate EHallett's "A payment a day" thread as well.

I am making a large payment per month off my credit cards, but I have also chosen my smallest Credit card to make a payment a day on. I am paying £5 per day and at the moment I am not feeling it, and it is paying off an extra £150 per month off my card.

Without this thread I would'nt have thought of doing this and it is giving me the inspiration to keep going.

    Its fantastic....

It's simple and it's something that everyone can participate in-regardless of income or level of debt (some people are using it for saving rather than debt repayment) and to me a post that benefits all readers is the type of post that should be post of the month

Ehallett's thread deserves to be nominated because it is not just the usual money off, grab it now, loop hole kind of post. It is about people getting together to try and pay what ever they can off their debts and it is truly addictive. I have been paying every day to my Barclaycard, which I would never have done without this thread.
