I would like to nominate EHallet for her thread on 'A Payment A Day': http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1079175
I, for one, have really turned my attitude around as a result of this thread. Instead of frittering away money daily (which is less easy to notice), I now put it towards my debt. If I don't have it, I can't spend it!
It's become a real community on the thread with everyone supporting each other - one of the only threads I've ever felt compelled to post on....
A credit to the type of community on MSE.Debt at lightbulb moment: £44,220. Paid off to date: £27,634 (62%) :j

Have to agree - Emily must be one of the hardest workers on DFW - she's always got a 'challenge' on the go, and the best thing is - her challenges work - they have helped so many people to 'deal with their debts'.
Well done Emily. :T :TI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
