I've been having a nightmare getting the wifi to work again ... after an hour and 20 minutes of faffing with it I've found the only way I can get it connected is to leave the curtains wide open (even though we're both in bed and everyone walking past can see right in   ) and to balance the laptop precariously on the end of the bed   Still, its finally working now;)
We had dinner then went to see a Bob the Builder show and a puppet show. Ds was shattered but didn't go to sleep till nearly nineRight, time for some mooching on here and a bit more admiring of Stu on BB

Chico! I remember him, he's mad! Dashing into the pool with a live microphone, and Ozzy Ozbourne shaking his head in disbelief. Excellent!
Good on DS! Swimming, yay!
Thats great news - hope you have a nice evening there.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oops, I got it wrong, Chico is tomorrow night
Tonight is a cartoon network show; beinga dfw we only have the basic channels in our house so we watched someof it but he got bored quickly as he didn't know any of the characters so he asked if we could get some jaffa cakes from the shop and come back to our room ... I didn't need much persuading

Hi Benben sounds like you are having fun. What do you think of the place? I know you sound like you are making the most of it but do you like the place?
Also how is it being there on your own as I know you were nervous about that?
Yay DS can swim, thats young!!

KM the place is fine tbh; its the kind of place that is fine for a tesco vouchers holiday or a sun 9.50 type holiday, I wouldn't spend "proper" money on it if that makes sense
Its kind of what I expected; the accomodation is a bit like student halls of residence but it is clean and the shower is great
The food is like school dinners, but theres plenty of choice and ds is happy with it. There are lots of amusement arceade machines everywhere and its all a bit dated, but tbh most of it is perfect for ds, theres a great swimming pool, various free rides to go on, various "entertainment",puppet shows etc... Being on my own here with ds isn't a problem at all, you don't notice who's with who at all so I don't stand out as being single. I'm pleased I brought him here, he's loving it
