I'm going to do some more once ds is in bed, but he is a very tired monster tonight, so I can't wait to get him off to the land of nod tonight

I spent 36.83 in tesco which included a new hairdryer as mine has finally packed up  , 5.99 on nans birthday present (found a nice picture frame in my present box to go with it), 79p on a gift bag, 1.45 on posting the ebay parcel and 70p on the car park.Mortgage Total: £50,550/ £75,000

Glad you had a nice time benben, my kids adored Butlins when they were younger and Haven as well as Pontins..it meant we got some time together as well, though i know what you mean about spending a lot of money on it!
When we were there the shows were emu's pink windmill and Timmy mallet..showing my age now, but i really enjoyed grotbags and boinging the mallet:D
Night time was shawaddywaddy and then Max boyce..good times:TBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Sorry, I'm still stuck on the reality of Christmas cards in August!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
We had lots of caravanning and camping holidays when I was a kid - only one was at a place with entertainment, tho, and we *loved* it, we thought we were soooooo grown up (I was 13). Nobody famous did the entertainments tho!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Ds is going away to his dads on thursday, and I've just realised how many jobs I haven't got done yet this holiday

So, rambling warning ... here is a random list of stuff I need to get done before we go back to school   ...- Complete and return NI form
- ds haircut
- online banking
- make a mortgage overpayment
- name school uniform
- finish reading ds library books with him as part of a readathon challenge
- make another 500.00+ for the summer challenge
- pay water bills

Hi Benben, congratulations on bringing your MF date forward so much. It is great to read about your hard work being rewarded. Can you tell me which mortgage calculator you use? I want to start killing off months too but I can't work out how to calculate it properly.0
