Thankyou :D The one I use most is http://www.quote-engine.com/mortgage-payments-calculator.html as this one show what the balance will be every month, but there are lots of simpler ones too. Have a look on the mortgage free board, at the top there is a sticky that has loads of different ones on, different people prefer different calculators ;) Good luck with your mortgage

I'm gonna have a look at that one, I *like* what you're doing - to be able to see the results is great, I seem to be plugging away for no visible result.

I've decided we're having an indoors day today; ds is going to his dads tomorrow and will be out on day trips every day so it won't do him any harm to have a lazy day today ;) This also gives me a bit longer to get everything done before my friend arrives on friday evening. So, my plan for today and tomorrow ....
    • subit mystery shop receipt (not done yesterday)
    • bath for me and ds
    • clean bathroom
    • clear washing pile
    • change both beds
    • get guinea pigs home
    • clean dining room table
    • earn 50.00 from aqa
    • visit my dad in hospital
    • label ds school uniform
    • list 10 items on ebay
    • clean my bedroom
    • tidy ds bedroom
    • clean ds bedroom
    • sort out the mountain on the coffee table
    • online banking
    • move mortgage pot to current account ready to make a payment
    • pack ds bag to take with him
    • do ds scrapbook with him
    • complete NI form and post
    • tax return :o
    • pay water bills
    • clean kitchen
    • sort out fridge
    • clean kitchen bin
    • look for another matched bet
There will be more added to this list but this is plenty for now  :D

Postie has just been and brought me my clubcard vouchers and a letter from the csa to say my ex's payments are increasing by 20.00 a week  The letter says this has to be backdated to 5th June but he's contesting that and says its from now (even though the letter clearly says June - muppet:rolleyes: ), so yay, an extra 88.00 a month :j :j and if it is backdated that will be about another 250.00 which may be used to start a holiday fund for next year :D Happy days :D:D

Great news about the money - it all just seems to flow, doesn't it! How to spend it, there's a good question. Half and half? This holiday went well, maybe you can do a week next year?

I was thinking possibly a week next year too KC, had a look at centreparcs after Hypno said about her holiday ad tbh its not much more there for a week than butlins ;) I will look into it a bit more later ;)

We've been on the bus, we went to the next town, it took 6 minutes to get there and cost 3.70 single   I was tempted to walk home as I was fuming about the extortionate prices, but it started raining so we got the bus .... and his ticket machine was broken so he let us on for free :T :T Karma or what ;):D

Hello again, glad to hear you had a lovely weekend away BB. We did too, weather was rubbish on Sat but took girls swimming and went to see Mamma Mia again in the evening so they were very happy. I spent almost £100 altogether, which is exactly what I'd allowed myself. My mum and dad paid for the hotel and most of our food, bless them. Went to Model Village on Sun which was great, again Mum+Dad paid, well for girls anyway - i insisted on paying for myself!

We've had a quiet couple of days this week - Emily outside playing most of the time and Georgia indoors doing her scrapbooking (and making a right mess but she's happy!!) We've just made samosas to go with our (home made )curry tonight.

What great news about your CSA payments going up! Myself and the ex agreed on the amount he gives me, both happy with it. But, only had 1 months payment and he's now lost his job. I'm quite worried now as it's £320 he gives me which is a good bit of my income. It's due on 24th, so a few days, but I doubt I'll get much at all. I keep thinking I should ring housing benefit and see if it makes any difference to my money from them, but as yet I don't know what he will be giving.

Anyway, enough of me....hijacking your thread again!!

Very impressed with your list...mind you I have done a lot, maybe I should write it down so I don't feel like I've just pottered about all day!!!
(Have been to Tesco, got a decent amount of food for £41, v pleased. Sooo much Value stuff!)
    ;)
I really need to sort out a new signature!
