Sorry for being a bit cryptic but several people at work today were talking about this site and I don't want to be discovered ;)

    Hopefully yes SS ;):D

Tonight hasn't been a huge success, ds decided to be a monster at bedtime and it was 9.30 in the end before he fell asleep :o I have sorted a couple of bits towards the clamping fee, basically I've decided I need to find that money first then carry on towards the mortgage money. My mum owes me £30 so that will go to the clamping fund, then I've done a couple of bets that should make me £22 and either £27 or £47 tomorrow night, (depending on whether they return the free stake), so that is a total of £82 or £102 towards the £150, so another £68 or £48 to find

Today has been a beautiful day here and also a cheap one ;) I spent 1.15 on a jacket potato and 47p on postage for ebay. I've tidied the kitchen and my bedroom since I came home and am about to chuck ds in the bath, and hopefully tonight I'll catch up a bit more with some moneymaking bits :D

  • Have you taken a look at the Peppipoo forums Benben? It may be worth posting the details of your clamping on there to see what you think. I had a spot of bother with a private parking firm last year and with the help of the guys on the forums managed to get my money refunded. :D

I did find (via google) someone else who'd been clamped in exactly the same place last year, and they went via small claims court and gave up in the end as it was getting nowhere :o:o Think I'm just gonna write it off and learn a very hard lesson

I have been chatting online with another seriously cute person from work, again happily married but it never hurts to get to know people, especially cute males, who may have other cute male friends who are single ;):D

Evening :D:D It took a long time to get ds to sleep again tonight, but finally I'm here  :o

Today has been a good day, we popped round to mums after school and she got us dinner and I played footie with ds in her garden for half an hour. She also gave me the £30 she owed me plus an extra £50 towards the clamping costs, I insisted she shouldn't but she was adamant :D Which means that it is all paid for now, so I'm back to the mortgage ;)

I have to make an overpayment within the next few weeks before the new mortgage starts, so it will be a mad rush now to try and scrape every penny I can, which may be tricky as we're off to Devon for a week at the end of May and I'll need some money left over for that :o

I have just requested a £5 payout from lightspeed surveys so that will get chucked into the pot, I may go and add up now and see how much more I need to find ;):D

    Morning
Playing catch up with the diaries now I'm back.
Bleah about the clamping-I'd appeal it on principle just to giver the !!!!!!s work to do.
Terminal 4 was really weird-they are rebuilding it. Got free breakfast *and* lunch. We had decided to go early and try and get on the earlier flight-didn't get on as it was overbooked. Wish we'd booked that one in the first place as they were offering $1000 pp to take a bump to the later flight we were on-which would have been lovely as the flights were only £330 pp return to start with-Oh well.
I need to get back in MB properly-like you I'm not sure why I don't do more. I've made a tidy sum although new bookies are getting more difficult to find now. My mortgage comes off fixed rate in October so I have the incentive.
Lovely about DS's swimming bet you were so happy :)
Off to Bluewater for a MS this morning £10 of beauty products plus fee.

Ds got a special sticker at school today for doing some really good writing :j :j never thought I'd see the day ;):D:D

I finally got my smear test done tonight  then took ds for his swimming lesson and have finally made it on here. He's in bed but hasn't settled down yet so it may be a while, but it is friday tomorrow so hopefully we'll get through this week without major problems at school :o

Moneywise I spent 60p at school today on a coffee and 2 rock cakes, but thats all today. Might try and enter a few more comps tonight, haven't done any for a couple of days.
