Have a lovely day in the sun, it's gorgeous here so would think you've got it too.

    How's your Grandad? xx

      RANT ALERT !!!!!

I went back to get the photo of the shop this morning, parked where I genuinely thought I was allowed to, took the photo and returned to the car in less than 7 minutes, to find it had been clamped   the release fee was £150    and if not paid within an hour would be towed away and then the fees go up to really really silly money. So I had to pay up. I asked where the signs were saying you couldn't park and the guy pointed out a piddly sign on the second floor of a building nearby, it was just a plain white sign with small black writing on it, and evenwhen he had pointed it out I could hardly read it   Having googled it it seems its a legal but dodgy moneymaking scam, as its private ground they can charge whatever fee they like, some are as high as £675   You can appeal but again as its private ground you can only appeal to the clamping company, yeah like they're gonna change their minds

So tonight we have one very very p*ssed off benbenandme, who is now on a serious mission to earn some money, may even log in to AQA tonight ;)

The weather here was beautiful again today, after the car debacle we went down the beach for a walk to clear my head and it was lovely :D

That is SO SO pants about the clamping fee - you have every right to be as narked as a narky person can possibly be

:mad:Arrggggghhhh you poor thing - I'm angry for you! What a ridiculous amount of money, just so unfair that they can do that:mad:

Hope you're cheering yourself up with Austin on ITV:o

  • That's a total ripoff, no wonder you are angry about it  Report them to your local trading standards. Probably won't do anything but their operating practices should go reported.

Now I'm going to go to bed and dream that a certain nasty clamping man gets part of his anatomy clamped     and I am the one with the key to unlock it and refuse ;) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Bitter, me??? :D

Sorry for being a bit cryptic but several people at work today were talking about this site and I don't want to be discovered ;)
