mmm...I would say give up the AQA if you think you are going to have to up your time on it to make the target but if you could manage to keep it going on the back boiler that would be good. always good to have another string etc but if it's either or the MB seems to be making you more money...

  Not quite sure where this is ?? Please tell me some very cute guys were mentioning my name ?? :D:D Ah, thought not, never mind  Welcome to my diary anyhow! Ooooh, matched betting tips, hmm well other thatn read read and re-read the stickies on the giol board, I'd also say make your own notes from there to check you really do understand it. The basics are relatively simple when you get going with it, but it is scary at first, well still is tbh, but as long as you're careful and doublecheck everything on there you'll be fine ;) The guys on the help sticky are amazing and always help and reply really quickly :T

Back to the AQA thing, I'm coming more and more round to thinking I'll give it up, I'd like to spend more time doing matched betting, and although I worry that the offers will run out there clearly are thousands more to be made before that should happen. I'd also like to try and learn more about it all and maybe progress into arbs and stuff like that :o

I would also like to spend some more time entering competitions and stuff like that online, but at the moment I feel like I ought to be doing aqa all the time. In my mortgage overpayment budget I have calculated I need to earn £50 a month from aqa, so as long as I make that money elsewhere (m betting, arbs, comp wins etc), then its not a problem. The football season finishes soon though so the betting will be harder then, I've never done a matched bet on horses yet, I may try and get to some car boot sales and stuff like that and stick a few bits on ebay again   I just feel like aqa is a chore and I love doing all my mortgage stuff but I don't want any of it to become a chore, I want to enjoy it, but then I kinda feel guilty for giving up an income source :o:D

is it possible to quit the aqa and come back to it some other time if the offers do dry up? TBH doesn't sound like you are enjoying it which is ok for one off tasks (bike cleaning;)) but not great for a long term source of income. You sound like you've made your mind up really.

  • Benben is it possible to tell AQA a 'porkie' and say you have some 'stuff' going on at present so you need a break? Then if you are struggling to make that £50 elsewhere you can go back to it? And if you are making the £50 then you can then knock AQA on the head?

Yeah I kinda think I have SS, I see it a bit like kids see homework or Hypno sees ironing, one of those things that always needs doing, never gets finished, always more to be done, always put it off etc etc

Its mad, I know I can manage on my budget and there are other ways of finding the money, and I could do dooyoo or something similar for the same money ... :o:o

To be honest KM, I've been making the money for the last couple of months elsewhere anyway, it just feels a bit reckless to knock it on the head, although I dont know why as I have only earnt 30p in the last month :o :rotfl:

 In that case just knock it on the head and give yourself the head space, we have enough essential things going on that make us feel like that without adding things like AQA to make us feel like that! You will always find a way to earn the money you always do :A
