Postie has just brought me my isa statement, for the last 12 months it earned £135 interet, which will that is lovely, it is a pretty pathetic amount for an isa. I checked the interest rate and it is 1.3%  I would soooo love to move it to the mortgage pot but then I'd have no savings left so I mustn't :o:o Later today I will start looking at better isa's ;):D

I didn't get to sleep till gone 1 this morning and was woken by a text at 8 this morning so am feeling knackered already lol. I must get up and have a shower now then go and do the mystery shops so that I can veg indoors for the rest of the day :D

20p on the scratcard too this morning ;)

  • Morning Benben!

Long time since I've posted on your thread (might even have been the old thread...) but I thought I'd pop on and say hi, and let you know that I'm still following your diary avidly and taking great motivation from it. :)

So sorry to hear about your Grandad - I hope everything is okay with him? My grandparents are quite a bit younger than yours, but it's still such a worry isn't it.

Might be worth taking a look at the Barclays Golden ISA if you're looking to stick to cash, as they're topping the rates at the moment - although they don't take transfers in I don't think, so you may only be able to use it for contributions in this tax year.

Anyway, I'll leave you to your mystery shops - just wanted to let you know that I'm still hear and still enjoying following your story!

Mystery shops are done but not yet submitted; the first one this morning went really well, the girl in there was excellent, its so nice to get good service :D:D

I'm having a really lazy day now, I'm still really tired so thought I'd veg on the sofa for a couple of hours ;) Just gonna make a cup of tea then might enter some comps for a bit. I have one matched bet on this afternoon which will make me between £13 - £23 depending on whether they return the free bet stake too :T

I've had my bath and it has woken me up a bit :D So I figured its about time I did a quick list as I haven't done one for ages :o
    • Tidy kitchen
    • Tidy lounge
    • Tidy bedroom
    • Wrap present for ex-fil
    • Submit mystery shops
    • Continue sorting finances :o
    • Ironing
    • Clean piglets
    • Put away Easter stuff
Thats about it, it all needs to be done before we go back to school, and tomorrow I'm going out for a walk with a friend so won't have much time then to do it. Okay plan is ... Do as much as I can of it by 8pm tonight, then I can relax on here for the rest of the evening, and I'll finish the rest off in the morning before I go out. Back at 8 :D;)

Woohoo, I'm really chuffed with how much I got done, why didn't I write a list this morning??  The place isn't immaculate but its acceptable now, and I also put the dishwasher on and the washing machine. I'm going to get the mystery shops submitted now then work on the finances, which will leave the ironing for tomorrow ;):D

Hmm, the rest of the evening wasn't quite so successful; I spent an hour on the phone then an hour trying to submit the shops. Basically I forgot to take a photo of one of them (the furthest one away ), so I have to go back this morning to take a picture of the shop

I didnt get any finances stuff done at all, and am going out in a bit so won'g get it done today either :o
