    HIya

Thought of you last night when I srtuggled to find emergency chocolate - ending up having one of the snack bars I had bought for lunches! I couldn't open the giant bar with only me in! Did however open a bottle of wine as I felt sure it was near it's BB date.

Having a holiday to look forward to is half the battle - I think I am a bit down as I don't have anything planned or booked so I will have to remedy this.

Off to look at holidays (in between working of course!)

Glad that the orrible Hegg has gone - although in sense you have I suppose done exactly what they wanted you to do. Annoying g its.

Haven't dared post recently as I now have an ironing pile. A large ironing pile. Unfortunately the olympics seems more interesting ! I may move teh ironing table downstairs tonight so that I can both watch the olympics adn iron - on the other hand I may not!

We've had the same thing with my DDs' teeth. Am currently waiting for appointments with the Orthodontist - they sent us a letter saying would we like to pay £180 for an appointment now or wait six months for an NHS one. It makes my blood boil!

I am encouraging the DDs to think that their teeth are perfectly fine - which I honestly think they are.

shaun - you sound pretty organised to me......life is exciting at times like this, albeit a bit daunting too sometimes!!

benben, the NHS have to agree whether the dental treatment is "cosmetic" or not. DD has inherited "fangs" from OH (beware in our house when there is a full moon) and we really thought they would allow them to be done because they are quite far forward in comparison to the two front teeth. But the dentist says it still only comes under "cosmetic" so that means it has to be paid for if we want them done.

I have told DD I will let her have them done if she needs them done, but she has to be aware it will take me time to save up, and will have to be in place of something else as there is not enough money obviously for everything. We shall see..........no rush.

peb - since when has being on your own been a barrier to opening a big bar of chocolate
