I use boots own brand "dark brown"......out of all the things I have tried over the years it is the best, nicest and cheapest of the lot!! It has a lovely colour to it - much nicer than "dark brown" suggests!!
It is often on offer 2 for £6 or something and of course you get boots points and can use piggy vouchers for it!!!
I wouldn't buy anything else now!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Right, I'm going to Boots tomorrow. Thanks! I have always used henna before but it's more expensive and the results are variable.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi Hypno
Congratulations on getting rid of Egg!!:T :T :T :T :T :T
Big hugs to you on going through your box. :grouphug: My Mum has been gone more than 20 years now but I still occasionally find something that gets to me - I found an old novel that was hers the other day, which she had written a dedication in the front of. A mixture of a smile and a lump in the throat. I am sure you can relate to that.PigginSkint's debt free diary

Shaun, that is such a perfect picture.......this really is turning out to be a good year for you isn't it! (apart from the heavy rain and stuff!)
Right, OH has been paid from his second job today and tempting though it is to make another payment to HSBC, I am going to book next year's holiday. Otherwise, I know what will happen, I will say I will book it with the next lot of money that comes in, except that will never happen and we will end up without a holiday again.
So....hard though it is to spend that sort of money.....I will take the plunge!
So today's list:- 3 mystery shops and input
- send off all receipts for said mystery shops
- take children to the dentist
- iron DH work shirts and take them to his second job
- pay client cheque in
- [STRIKE]book holiday
[/STRIKE] DONE :T
- [STRIKE]do online banking and check against bill[/STRIKE] Still Solvent!
- [STRIKE]make a small overpayment with what's left[/STRIKE] £50 gone off HSBC
- do flylady
- finish "the box" and clear spot on the landing

You have a good day too Hypno - sounds busy again though. I'm gpoing into work today and then on teaching so haven;t written a list yet - have left DS with instructions of what he is to do - DD has a driving lesson and then her BF is coming to stay for a couple of days while his parents are away, so she has a list as well !!!!
Saw my great nephew last night - he was 8 hours old !!! Still hasn;t a name though - hopefully will know what it is today as although I took a birthday card round for niece, I didn't take anything for baby as couldn;t send a card with no name in.
Anyway have a good day.
PS Well done on the egg0 -
