Batteries for my TV remote gone!! Grr why do the kids do that? Just had to buy emergency at the corner shop and totally smashed my attempts to save money, £4.99 for 4 AAA batteries. Oh pooh barr !!!!

benben, the NHS have to agree whether the dental treatment is "cosmetic" or not. DD has inherited "fangs" from OH (beware in our house when there is a full moon) and we really thought they would allow them to be done because they are quite far forward in comparison to the two front teeth. But the dentist says it still only comes under "cosmetic" so that means it has to be paid for if we want them done.

I have told DD I will let her have them done if she needs them done, but she has to be aware it will take me time to save up, and will have to be in place of something else as there is not enough money obviously for everything. We shall see..........no rush.

I had fangs when I was young. I loved them...

Just home from running about - mystery shop, went to pick up a parcel (thanks OO! I will let you know the tale later!!) karate etc.

Got home, sat down....put the telly on.....no sound. It has died :eek:

So we are sitting watching big brother (sad, yes, I know) with subtitles

Well, I don't need God to tell me I am watching rubbish! I KNOW that Big Brother and anything remotely similar is rubbish.......but sometimes, just occasionally, I need something more moronic in my life than my own moronic life.......and Big Brother fits that description nicely, making me feel uber intelligent, and therefore good about myself

i found myself watching trisha today ...i hate those type of programmes but felt so lazy i just couldnt be bothered getting the remote and turning it over ....i'm sure i will pay for it in another way though
