Morning! Yep, I've only just got up, lovely. Decluttering sounds good - mind you, so does living in Utah. Hope the journey goes well, duchy.

morning all!!! well the house inspector can verify the amaaazing amount of work completed in the hypno household yesterday. I know she won't mind me saying this but, after numerous coffee/jaffa cake stops at hypno's house over the last year (jeeperscripes has it really been that long!! and i haven't managed to scare you off yet!!! :D) I had NO IDEA there was a sink in the utility... and yesterday i discovered there was... and the drawers ran freely where they had been emptied to...
Keep up the hard work hon and if you need a hand you know which direction to holler in..

ps, any jaffa cakes left?? he he

Oh my word! This is your secret, isn't it hypno? All the energy you have for moneymaking schemes - its simply that you don't do *any* housework! That cheers me up a *lot*, tbh - I always feel bad at the amount I don't do because I'm on the computer figuring out ways of trying to make money.

I want to make a start on work now.....but everyone is still asleep and because our floorboards etc creak so much I will wake them up!
The only thing I can think of doing that is quiet, is the ironing

Same here. My son works nights, I feel like I have to tiptoe round the house. If he'd been out partying it wouldn't bother me, I'd hoover outside his bedroom door if necessary, but he works 12 hour shifts, so have to be a bit careful. And anyway I need him to keep paying his way!

Desperately want to sort cupboard under the stairs, but its certain to wake him up, so can only do the ironing. Admittedly, the pile is of amazing proportions considering there are only 2 of us in the house, but I hate ironing.

Well done on the clear out. i've just been and checked the kitchen drawer, and its full of bits from when the kitchen was fitted, what did I think I was going to use them for?

KC - have you not been reading my diary these last months, or do you just not believe it when I say I am useless at housework!!!!?:rotfl:

Every time I have said about the state of the house/clutter/whatever, it is true! My "untidyness" is not simply a few clothes on the floor when they should be in the drawers/washbin or whatever, it is something very very different!

So.....yes, Pania has finally seen my worktops and the sink in the utility......and she was just a tad gobsmacked!!!

I have just been scrubbing the hob, and DS has sorted out the lego. DD is sorting the "tupperware" cupboard under the kitchen sink.......onwards and upwards!!

rtandond - you will be pleased to know that the ironing pile is intact.......for now!!
