Hello, I have been a bit absent from the computer for a while. Still in a bit of a strange place in my head when I come home. Must confess to having spent the last 3 nights at BF's. have been coming home to check up on the family etc. But I struggle to face it here at home.
I have been trying to catch up with whats been going on on your thread hypno, but confess to about an hour reading and still not up to date. Page 3 I think I got as far as, after about 8 on the old thread!.
Watching Miss Marple on the TV and havent really a clue whats going on as I have had my mind on here.
I also have to confess that I felt I needed a bit of your energy to pack a punch at me to get me back up and running.
I will leave your thread alone for now, and go and bash a bit on mine. Take care, MoolooWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Talking of Charity Shops, I am back to work in the morning so I better find the energy to be enthusiastic there. The amount of stock that we are getting donated these days are staggering. :T I am swimming in the stuff at work!. Its wonderful though. Thats the one thing in my life that is going from strength to strength. We hit target last week again, and smashed it by another £350....
Mind you the talk of recession worries even us as the rents are going up, and of course the bills to heat the place.....etc etc.
We have recently had new DVDS introduced, and our Chritmas stock is coming in in a few days time. Will be Xmas by end of the month!! Its rediculously early every year. And now we are going to be selling Clinton Cards too?!!!
Where has the time gone when it was all just donated stock?? We are more and more like a department store on a mini scale, month by month it continues.
Mind you if you want a bargain for Fashion jewellry we have some hum dingers from 49p so lets hope we manage to sell them to make room for all the stuff Hypno is donating....... (OK I know your not donating to my shop but all the lovely people that are having clear outs and gift aiding to us is just Brilliant.....gives us loads of bargains for other MSE people to buy.... Does them a favour and makes money to save lives with heart desease!!!:j
Time to check on the grandchildren and hope the mums come home soon. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I have to say, I think the chap at the charity shop I took my stuff to yesterday was a little taken aback at the amount that came from the car!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. A least you're not leaving it in the doorway tonight Hypno. Our high street (7 charity shops) looks like bin day on a Monday morning.0
