I think I am more or less finished for the weekend.......I am now at that point where I ache so much that everything is just too much effort!!
I will finish the kitchen and utility (well, they are soooo close to being done) after dinner.
I have also realised that all I have had to eat today is a bag of crisps and some after eights.......not exactly a balanced diet for a busy dayNo wonder I am tired!
DD is still doing her room, but I think she is even slower now than I am! Still, she has made progress too so I am pleased with that.
Dragon - I hope it *does* get better throughout the week.....although we are both back at work tomorrow so I am not going to hold my breath....it may have to wait until next weekend, and goodness only knows what state the place will be in by then!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, what you've done is fantastic - all those carloads of stuff, its *got* to make a difference; its not *tidy* straight away, of course, but it will be sooooo much easier to keep tidy once you actually get it tidy. Do have something to eat, and a rest too, you deserve it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Crisps = carbs and fat
After Eights = sugar & vegetables (don't forget all that mint).
Now all you need is some protein - unless you had cheese, beef, chicken etc crisps, in which I think you've covered just about everything. The only essential food group missing is alcohol, so best sort that out now!
Glad you've had such a productive day, well done Hypno House :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

OMG! I go away for a day and our hypno turns into house doctor! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am more than impressed hypno - decluttering I find is exciting for about the first hour and then just very exhausting - that you have kept going all weekend is just fab - and you will see the difference!
I want to have a go while I am off work - but I am starting to get worried about all the things I want to have a go at while I'm at work! So we'll see. But if you have any tips....??0 -
I am in awe, it is my turn to be not worthy to be in your presence
Seriously good news, it is SO good to clear clutter. I've been working on the loft for the last TWO YEARS, and I'm beginning to see some organisation up there. However, when my sis heard today, she returned to me the non-urgent-boxes we had put in her loft when we moved here 8 years ago :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sadly they're DS1's so I can't say "they've not been missed in 8 years, they can be binned"0 -
Hi Miz, hope you had a good weekend.....as for tips, hmm, well I don't think I am too well placed to offer those......my previous attempts at tidying/getting organised/decluttering have never come anywhere close to this weekend's marathon clear. It was simply a case of "don't plan anything, just go with the flow!"
A friend of mine on Friday, when I first mentioned the desire to get decluttered, was trying to tell me that I needed a plan.......NOOOOOO! If I have a plan, and it doesn't get off the starting blocks, then I just give up where housework is concerned.......:o I described this weekend as an "organic" method of clearing.......just see what evolves and run with it.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
