Morning!!

Well, everyone else is still in bed, so I don't want to de-clutter noisily. I will therefore give myself until 10am this morning drinking coffee and being on the computer (well, it *is* Sunday, after all) then will make a start. There is still an inordinate amount of work to do.....so hopefully we will be as successful in our task as we were yesterday.

I am also aiming for a NSD today - shopping was done yesterday, the car filled with petrol, etc so I should be able to get away with spending no money. Fingers crossed.

My sole ebay item ends tonight - it is up to £9.50 with 20 watchers so hoping for a few pounds more...not bad for something I only paid £3 originally

De cluttering has discovered a few nuggets of value.....a £5 ski gift voucher.....2 Euros in DDs room......and an unopened box of After Eights :rotfl: See, our house must have been bad if there was uneaten chocolate hidden!!!!!

Keep going Hypno, you might discover a room you never knew you had!!!! I cleaned both bathrooms yesterday, strimmed and mowed the lawns, weeded veg patch and planted out cauliflowers. Did forget to bring washing in and its raining today. Ooops

Ooh, lucielle, my garden has been very much neglected this year......another thing on my "must try harder" list

My washing too has been out on the line since yesterday morning......I really am trying hard not to use the tumble drier, but I suspect I will have to give in at some point today otherwise nothing will get dry.

OK, inspired once again by the lovely benben....here is my list for today.

• declutter and get rid of as much as possible
• drink coffee to keep me awake enough to do above
• collapse on sofa at the end of the day and admire handiwork

Loving the list Hypno, and two out of three wouldn't be a bad rate to acheive I'd start from the bottom of the list and work up :rotfl:

But you didn't top the list with Eat Chocolate, and you've now missed the opportunity to "tidy" the after eights (it is after eight right now)

The after eights are still intact (for now)........and the DVD still hasn't been found.

I want to make a start on work now.....but everyone is still asleep and because our floorboards etc creak so much I will wake them up! OH was doing his charity thing until 4am so not really fair on him to make too much noise.......not so bothered about the kids, they are on school hols so can catch up on sleep all week, but OH starts his new job tomorrow so don't want him grumpy tired!

The only thing I can think of doing that is quiet, is the ironing :eek:

I'm very impressed-oddly enough I was thinking about declutter today and how I need to be more ruthless when I get home. I think it's been surrounded by mountains that did it-Utah is probably on of the most beautiful places I've ever visited-doesn't matter where you are you can see the mountains. Hot summers, four distinct seasons, low humidity and a long ski season-I could live here !! lol
Sadly back to reality tomorrow and the long journey home and nose back on the grindstone <sigh>
