Hullooooooooooooo I'm home !!!
I feel like I've been away for months not nearly three weeks
A short list for me
Empty all three bags and clear washing mountain
Work out where weird smell in house is coming from
SLEEPI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
 Hello! Weird smells not good - don't fight the jetlag too hard. And welcome home!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
Welcome home..yuck to the smell0
-
Welcome home duchy and I hope you find the cause of the smell very soon!
KC......that breakfast is nothing to do with working from home......I would eat chocolate for breakfast when working from home too
Mystery shop done - it was at a supermarket so managed to get some basic groceries on expenses, thereby preserving my NSD for today. I just need to enter the results.
I still have to clear my cabin out ahead of tomorrow's client - to make it the haven of calm that it used to be......methinks I have my work cut out, but I won't be doing that until after dinner.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Just sat down for the first time since 8 odd this morning! I am whacked. Had to do an hour at the gym with the physio.! Then did an hours overtime.
Came home to find a few tiles fell off the sink in the kitchen, Mentioned it to the landlord when I paid my rent and he said he will come and fix it tomorrow. Then he said he will do his inspection then. Well as you all know, my place is the after math off......armagedhan? Anyway that now means that I have given myself 10 minutes to rest and then i have to go and tidy up the house. From top to bottom!! Twins have been allotted their rooms and the bathrooms/downstairs loo, and the washing up.
Me./
Attack the rubbish that the kids have layered outside instead of putting in the recycle bins/main rubbish bin.
Tidy up the yard/garden of cigarette ends that they have a nasty habbit of flicking around. Water the plants.
Bring in the washing
Tidy up the baby room and remove signs of Visitors stay, i.e. put the z bed away.etc
Remove evidence of all candles in all the rooms (Not allowed in the tenancy)
Tackle my sisting room. Its a dumping growned at the moment.
Then I must do my bedroom
Oh and the washing needs moving on
Think thats if for tonight. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Evening all. Hypno - hope you are getting a rest - no point in having a haven of calm for your client if you are collapsed in a heap in the middle of it!
You have done so much over the past few days - hope you are getting some relaxation too.....
Mystery shop sounds pretty good - I wonder if I should give it a go....0 -
Ok, so my list reads.....
- [strike]eat chocolate[/strike] what do you mean, dairy milk for breakfast is not a suitable start to the day
- [strike]write list of things to do[/strike] see, progressing well on my list already
- [strike]enter mystery shop results from weekend and send off receipt[/strike]Done
- [STRIKE]Do another mystery shop after work[/STRIKE] Done and entered (and paid for bread and milk as part of the job!)
- [STRIKE]Aim for a NSD (mystery shop will allow for purchase of bread and milk under expenses
)[/STRIKE] Done - see above
- [STRIKE]Get my cabin clear ready for client to visit tomorrow[/STRIKE] Done (well, certainly better than it was!)
- [strike]check online banking against bills to pay[/strike]DONE - current surplus £1.99
- [strike]go to Halifax to reduce overdraft facility[/strike] Done - that is another £100 of temptation I do not have!
So, the list is done.....and so am I!! The efforts of decluttering have taken their toll and I am shattered! What a lightweight :rotfl:
OH is out getting rid of another load of unwanted stuff.......I am determined that at some point we will have space in this house!!
Refunded my Amazon buyer this morning as the DVD never turned up.....and my ebay buyer has not yet paid....perhaps some sort of "buyers' karma" is in process here!
Mystery shop loaded on the system, so just need to send off the receipt and that will be £11 winging its way to me.
And I have managed a NSD today - I have been using those cappucino sachets at work - not as good as the real thing, but at only 15p each they are a heck of a lot cheaper......it certainly helps in the whole NSD campaign because I can buy a couple of boxes when they are on offer, so have no need to spend money on coffee for a few days at a time!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I second hypno....I work from home and my ideal breakfast would be chocolate, icecream or chocolate moose, or is that mouse, ermmm....chocolate squidgey stuff. Preferably all three of them. Of course....I don't indulge................very often!!! Hope the ebayer pays soon xx0
