Thanks for the advise. She is in her own little chocolate box at the moment with cut up old tea towels wrapped around her, when we are just watching telly we put her on top of the fish tank which has a light on it so it is warm all the time and when I am on the computer she goes on to of the modem lol as it gets quite warm but not too hot, I have to keep her up out of the way as I have an 18 month old who is into everything. I haven't seen much of my OH lately as we have been doing shifts, he did the night shift with the kitten last night so is sleeping at the moment bless him lol. She seems fine with the feeding at the moment, i just fill up the teat and then let her suckle it the repeat when empty so shes doing the work herself which means less chance of inhaling.

I knew I shouldn't of tempted fate and started this thread, Asha just died in my OH's hands.

At least she didn't die nameless and unloved.

Isn't amazing how something so small can take over your life and make such an impact on you even when you try not to get emotionally attached like I tried not to.
I'm trying not to cry as I type this.
My OH is heartbroken.

She's our little angel now :A
• Awww bless sorry to hear that :(, at least for her short life she was loved

Asha was only with you a short time but she was loved - if only all pets could be so lucky.

((((Hugs to you and you OH ))))

I was chosen today
I'm learning to fly
the world took me away,
but please don't you cry

And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don't you cry
and don't say that I'm gone

When you're feeling alone
just remember our love,
I'm up near the stars
looking down from above.

Remember our love
In a moment you'll see
that I'm still here beside you
when you're thinking of me.

I know it's tough to give up on kittens even runts and many a time I have fallen for them myself :) The last one i had the mummy cat had left behind and the farmer had been feeding for a day himself (big softie!) before he got a hold of me... I had her over night and then managed to contact our local RSPCA centre and thought it was worth asking but indeed they had a queen with new born kittens so we tried the kitten with her and she accepted it straight away bless her!

The thing to remember is that often runts won't make it and the kittens mum leaves are often ill and can rarely be saved so don't feel like you failed her!
Some times yes they pull through but sometimes nature needs to take it's course. At least she was loved :)

Had the RSPCA today to see us about getting another cat/kitten to replace my little guy who we lost on Monday

I think I am going to loose my little boy, poppy (multipage.gif1 2)

I still hurts cant help thinking of him but I know its time to move on and we have a nice home for a lovely cat

They supply a cat with microchip/vaccinated etc I am going to make sure it has the full lot rather than not have the leukaemia jab miss just in case
