    Hello

If you don't mind me asking how did you get on with nationwide? We were thinking of using them too.

    Many thanks

  • Nationwide a no go. In the end we went with a danske bank current account which accepts dollar chequers....
  • Was nationwide a goer if over $250 or not at all?

We no longer accept Foreign cheques. Please ask the person sending or transferring money to you to use a SWIFT payment.

I have several US Dollar cheques, each of them less than $10 each.

Can anyone recommend a way of cashing these that isn't going to wipe out the full value of them ?

I found Auctionchex but they are no longer operating.

    Thanks in advance

Honestly I don't know if you can do anything worthwhile with them. I'm still using Danske bank for the few cheques my friend gets but I'm not sure it would be worthwhile opening an account for a few $10 cheques...

At Barclays, cheques under the equivalent of £50 are free to process, while those between £50 and £100 will cost £4 per cheque.
