  • If it's a spend that's a) already budgeted for and b) unavoidable e.g. daily bus fare and daily cup of cheapo coffee in the work canteen (sometimes you have to buy something so that they allow you to eat your homemade sandwiches there!) does this still count as an NSD? (Please say yes..!)

After attempting a NSD I had to get a crank for my bicycle. Though it works out much better in the long run, means I can ride my bike rather than drive, much greener and saves me on petrol :-D

Managed NSD no.4 today finally. Halfway to the target and just under halfway through the month so I suppose that's pretty good! Don't think I'll manage another one this week though - gotta do the big shop tomorrow because my mum is coming to stay, and we're off to Ikea on Saturday so I can't believe my credit cards will stay snug in my wallet all weekend!

Achieved NSD #5 today! However away most of weekend so not likely to be great from a spending perspective. However we are using some free tourist entry vouchers saving approx £36 and staying with relatives (free food) so hopefully shouldn't be too bad!
