I was asked at work whether we had had a power cut where I live, when I replied with "no,why?" the reply was "Oh I thought you had got dressed in the dark!!!"Away with the fairies.... Back soon0

DH had a brilliant one - he was working at someone's house, he used to be a sparky, doorbell rang to which he answered
"hello, would you like to join our congregation and god will be with you?"
to which he replied
"not unless he can pull 30 metres of conduit through a small hole"Opinions are like bottom holes, we all have one

I had a similar one where I was a bit miserable at work one day (long story...won't go into it!) and I told a colleague that "I'd been down in the dumps recently" . The reply was..."I often wondered where you got your clothes from!"Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

A couple of years ago (again) I was standing in the kitchen cooking on the hob, DD came in complaining of a headache - so I told her to get her dad to reach to the back of the cupboard to get one of them 'cool and soothe' patch strips ...... to which he stuck on her forehead a .................... pantyliner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Opinions are like bottom holes, we all have one

A friend of mine, single for a few years, is of a certain age and went to the doctor to see if HRT would be of any help.
The doctor asked 'is there any chance you may be pregnant Mrs x?' trying to not be irritated by the fact that she's 'Miss' she replied in her best 'Bridget Jones' voice - " As I'm a simpleton it doesn't really apply and anyway I was on the contradictive pill until last year"

This is slightly different...but quite entertaining after all...
Many years ago, I did some temping at a building firm. It was a huge contract and the block layers were well behind target and set to cost the company a lot of money if the development was delayed. I had to ring the MD of the block company and tell them.
Well...I rang them and said "that unless all BLOKES were laid by a certain date then his company would be fined!"
I was young at the time and guess what was on my mind....!!!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
