being hearing impaired I have been mis-pronouncing many words for a while now -

I have been saying "SHAV" and my DD only told me a few months ago that it was "CHAV" - oh well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd been to the hairdressers and got meself a new 'do', I was well annoyed that my husband didn't notice and he said 'whats the matter with you?' and I said 'I've been the hairdressers' and then he smirks and says 'was it shut?!'

Lets just say he got a slap with a tea towel, one of them stinging ones!
