Oh no, don't be weighing yourself more than once a week. Just wait for your weigh day.

    Hi,
didn't have the greatest start as Friday is a long day for me, as I have a part time job straight from work, so was too tired to cook and went to the chippy.

Yesterday was good. Everyone says you should eat breakfast, but I've never been able to face food first thing. Will have to try. REst of day had cottage cheese and crackers with salad and fruit and then chciken with roasted veg (some it grown in my very own pots) and couscous.

Trying to do weightwatchers core plan, everything else just gets too complicated for me. Have done it before and lost a bit, but need to focus.

Hard to resist choc at moment as it was my birthday last week and the house is full of the stuff but am going to treat myself each night rather than doing without completely.

  • I feel like i'm doing ok so far on this week. I have done 30 mins on the exercise bike on Friday and Saturday, and just about to do it again for today as it earns me 2 weight watchers bonus points.
  • Ok, here's my challenge that I'm gonna set myself, anyone who wants to join me can.

    Starting from 1st August......

I'm going to start a healthy eating and healthy money challege.
So you go about your healthy eating and excercise during the week, and at the end of the week, weigh yourself.
However many pounds you lose, you put into a sealed tin. The more pounds you lose, the pounds you gain...and maybe by this time next summer you can either treat youself with the money you have saved or help pay off your debts....as well as looking great.

What we all think to this idea or has this been done b4?!

if you put on do you have to take the money out?

I'll be weighing myself tomorrow because I want to do it at boots and can't get there till then.

I'm going to try a diet where I don't eat anything after 5pm. I heard about it on the radio a month or two ago and tried it, lost a couple of pounds then went away, put it back on and didn't really get into the habit again when I got back. I'm also going to make sure I have breakfast every day, I'm not too good at doing that so it'll be a bit of a challenge. And I'm going to try and drink lots (don't like the taste of water here though so it'll be squash), and have plenty of fruit teas because they make me feel full and like I've had something nice.

I don't suppose you know who "invented" it do you? would like to read up about it.

Hi everyone, can I join too?? I've already started doing it since I joined Slimming World at the start of May, but this way I can actually put the £'s down on 'paper'!! So far I have lost 39 1/2lbs, and have saved up £39.50! It gives me EVEN more of an incentive to lose weight.
My 'mini-target' that I have set myself is another half stone, this will bring me down to the weight I was just BEFORE I joined Uni-slim 7 years ago (gulp!)
    I blame the children......

TractorGirl327- WELL DONE!! Feels good, doesn't it? I just have another 5 stone to go.............. BUT I'll not dwell on that too long, at least I'm taking steps forward instead of back!!
I wonder how many £'s that is altogether?? Couldn't be bothered adding it up now, have a HUGE pile of ironing waiting for me in the other room, and the thought of that is melting my brain!
