One trick I tried before and worked well was.... chewing gum.
If I had the need for nibbles in between meals or when watching the TV in the evening I'd pop a piece of chewing gum in. It gives your jaws something to do, it helps saliva production (good for a healthy mouth) and as it's mint flavoured - crisps just don't taste the same after gum!!!! A friend of mine cleans her teeth as it does the 'mint' thing too.0 -

Can I join in too?? Hope I'm not too late.
I'm not going to start officially until the 9th Aug as I'll be on holiday until then. I have approx 4 stone to lose and hopefully alot to gain! (sorry don't know what that is in lbs or £'s
)
I'll do my first weigh in on the 9th and will post my exact target then as no doubt I'll have a few extra pounds to lose from the holiday :rolleyes: .
My action plan to shift the pounds:-- Half my portions
- Eat less rubbish and eat more fruit/veg
- Exercise more (Got a bike and just brought a treadmill off e-Bay- so I've got no excuses to move my big bum :rotfl: )
- Drinking loads of water (I don't drink enough)
I wish you all loads of luck for this week and look forward to joining you next week!
