Say that you're not sure but will find out and let her know. then you can ask your AM and phone the guest the next day or put a note in her order bag if it's gone to her via you.
Did you get the games you wanted? nobody can PM them to you because we can't send attachments but if you still want them (and anyone else) you can PM me and tell me your e-mail address then I'll e-mail the games to you.0 -
Hi Everyone
At training I covered facials and makeovers - but like we've discussed on here...not everyone will want that! My AM just didnt seem to grasp that...she kept saying - "yes - but its her treat" which I understand - but I know some people that wouldn't want all her make-up taken off in front of all her friends
Anyway...was wondering what you all do at a pure pamper party?? I was thinking about working thru the catalogue and being really interactive with all the products?!?!?!
Any advice would be great!!!!!0 -
I do a foot soak. All the guests bring a washing up bowl and towel or similar (and tell the host to prepare some spares for those who forget) then you give them all a foot soak and scrub followed by foot lotion and leg gel from the peppermint range. While they are soaking their feet you can take the opportunity to show the christmas presents or anything else you fancy passing round. you can also use the bowls (before feet or fresh water after feet) to do hand scrubs (use the body scrubs, give a choice e.g. a fruity salt based one (Mango?) and a more nutty fibre based one (coconut). let them try out both if they want to compare and you think they might actually buy them.0

Hi Guys, I still have a few days before my first party, but i have now collected over £70 in pre-orders for my mums party. I am postering all over the place now, so heres hoping people take the hint and book a party!
My corner shop are being great as well as they are handing out catalogues for me, i am just a bit worried as i have quite a few summer cats but only a few christmas ones and without making any money i can not afford to buy anything.

Buying catalogues will be an investment so its worth getting more. If your getting orders from handing them out then you will quickly get the money back. You could use your summer ones to hand out with a note on saying 'If you would be interested in a party or recieveing a christmas catalogue please contact...' or something along those lines. Also leave them in doctors surgerys, dentists, hairdressers or anywhere you can think of with a waiting room. In some areas it works!0

Has anyone done a party with boys? I've been asked to do one with a load of local students at the end of November and I'm not sure how it's likely to go. My experience of students so far is that they don't really spend money with me and I wonder if having boys there will mean they are even more likely to all have a great time, have a good giggle at me and my products but not buy anything? Anyone got any experiences, good or bad, or any tips?
Hi Ellie,
I did my first party with two men there, they both bought the men's Maca root collection, to be fair they were the best behaved, knew what the wanted and with no messing around. I think you will be suprised that they will actually want the products, be willing to pay for them and less likely to mess around than most of the ladies lol.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hello everyone!
I currently work as a Virgin Vie consultant and am wondering whether Body Shop is any better.
Can you let me know the following:
1. How much is your start up kit?
2. How much commission do you earn?
3. Do you have to pay for delivery and if so how much is it?
4. Do you have to purchase the thank you/hostess gifts for the hostesses or are these free?
Thanks girls xx0 -
Hi,
The Kit is £95 you can earn that back in about 2 parties although at this time of year it would be possible to do it in 1 party. You earn 25% comission and have the opportunity to get bonus. You can also earn more money by recruiting others. Delivery is £5 no matter how big or small the order. You do pay for the thankyou gifts but you can get them for as little as 50p depending on what you want to offer. Can I ask where in the country you are and why your thinking of swapping?0
