I've not sold one of the PWP. I try to sell it with the recomendation that they could fill it with products and use as an extra christmas pressie but no one seems that interested. It is slightly boring, the last one was a lot better. I'll keep trying though someone has got to like it.
As for best sellers I think mine are oilburners-i sell loads of them.Other than that its a mixed bag really. How have you guys been doing?

We are doing ok thanks, we are done now for October apart from Thursday, which should get us to sucess start level 3 :-)

I agree the last pwp was a lot better, that one would have been better for the christmas period too! not having much look with this one, its a bi boring isnt it! sold a few, but think people would spend more with a better pwp incentive!

Our best sellers at the moment seem to be the plum butter and slippers and hemp.
I would have thought people would love the cranberry shimmer which we bought into, but not sold any yet lol

    Oh my life!!!

Ragz has got a Christmas seller!! Her first recruit & my last one needed!! Woohoo Ragz!!
Thats my team of 8 need to hit £3500 team sales by friday & I can promote out as Area Manager!!
I've got 2 parties left so will need to hot foot it back on Friday night after my party to get my order in before midnight!!!

Woop woop! Very excited, just have to help her get her sales to £425 so I get my LOVELY make-up box. May yet persuade her to join as a full seller (I'm working on it)
Really hoping our team sales get to target for you Ditzee (PS, hoping you're feeling better), don't know how many parties our little team has before friday but hoping it's enough. I will have a think and see if I can get any orders from random places by then, every little helps!
    Any ideas anyone??

Cath and Kim, you guys are doing Fab well done! Definitely making it worth the while for the both of you.

While I was at my mate's with my AM, my AM got a phonecall from a hostess who had a room full of guests and her con. hadn't turned up, turns out she'd left and not told anyone about her booking, no one could fill in so my AM drove all the way home and went out to do it (looking rather stressed and I don't blame her!)
Who would do that?? We all know how important parties are and how they must be passed on if you can't make it. I am AMAZED the lady got 8 guests there with no contact from the consultant and no host coaching!

Must go, Dead Set is on.

    Hi folks!

Update from my first proper party last night (I'm a bit of a night owl as you can probably guess!)

Was really nervous beforehand, wasn't sure I was going to remember everything. Was up the night before reading up on stuff- felt like I was revising for an exam!!! I did find that over the course of the evening the questions I was asked were ones I could answer easily (e.g. do you recommend night cream - what are the benefits, do you have to stick to products from the same range, which eye cream would you recommend etc - as opposed to what does this do, what's in this? etc) Did find I was talking about Vitamin E and C range a lot as I use them and know more about them.

I showed the brand DVD, which went down well (comments: 'this all looks very professional', 'didn't see this at the last party I went to')

Got a warm lead for a party which I will follow up but to be honest I was so busy trying to remember everything I didn't get round to chatting to everyone (had 10 girls - which in reality I found to be quite a lot) I did a mixture of all three parties (did mini makeovers and foot soak) and my sales reflected that, as I sold a lot of body butter/scrubs, vitamin E and shimmer cubes! I bought the Cranberry and Warm Amber oils with my last order and they went down a storm - everyone was really loving the smells and I sold about 4/5 of the oils and 3 oil burners.

Total party sales came to £290 (with host orders £382). I had 3 orders from girls at church so I put them through on this order, so less any free and half price shopping total party order according to the system is £384. Current period to date is £428 - so I've hit my £425 target - yay!!!!

    A couple of questions:

One girl wanted to do the Everyday Collection in the Olive Oil range - is this available as I couldn't see it in the book or online. All the other ranges seem to be there but not Olive oil and seeing as she was buying a scrub and body butter it was me who suggested for her to do the Everyday collection, only not be able to find it.

Incentives - I've put my order through (its on hold, will complete tomorrow once I pay all the cash in) are the incentives really necessary to buy? Of the four offered I bought Cassis Rose, as I don't have this (it costs about £1.20). What are your thoughts as I don't want to buy for buying sake.

Really enjoyed the party (love make up and beauty as you know) and even though it was my first proper one the host said it was really good and said you would never tell it was my first time. She gave me feedback in terms of people asking for products that I didn't have, so I'm thinking I might try and get something from the Christmas collection seeing as they are so prominent in the catalogue and I was asked about it. I'm finding that if I have the product to show, I can sell it. The Vitamin C serum sold really well, as I've been using it for the past week, have noticed the difference and was able to rave about it.

I'm now on a mission to get another booked in before the 10th November so I can at least have a shot at Success Start level 1.

All in all - a very good evening and I'm really looking forward to my next one!

  • I got a large delivery today with some of my xams shopping including free and half price shopping from a fundraiser. Got festive flames (damaged but lovely - emailed the helpline about replacement), All that glitters, the exclusive eyes lips and cheeks palette, shower cascade (using this to show some of the other ranges I dont have ie mango, strawberry and shea), scented candle garden (smells lovely),the basic hostess gift (used the oil tonight again gorgeous smelling), brush roll (for me!), compact mirror - good cheap stocking filler and again will be mine, lip scuff, shampoo and conditioner set for fine hair again for me as I seem to react to herbal essensses (sp). Also got the frangrance set with the 3 oils and 2 stars.

My aim is to use some for me and some as presents but most also to use at parties. Actually seeing the products makes me want them more so hoping it has the same effext on guests. The candles dont impress me in teh catalogue but when I see and smell I really like them. Also the packaging makes the stuff look great.

Had £7 left on a gift card so in town today I passed over some business cards and brough the 3 gift bags costing me just 50p. They again look better in real life, good quality so worth the cost. The shop does a large red bag for £5 but I couldnt find this on the order system which is a shame.

Watched the hostess training from the conference online and rang a couple of hostesses with parties due soon to use some of the tricks ie 2 invitaions to each guest so they can invite a friend, free gift to hostess for a pre defined pre order value. Only one availblee but she alsready has between 10 and 15 coming so looks like she knows what to do! Ill try the others tonight.

Phew what a long post.........Well done Cath and Kim for hitting level 3 and to ragz team for the new recruit. Valencia I find the stuff I use/know more about do sell better - lip and cheek stain went down well at last party as well and my favourite lemongrass foot powder.

  • Just a note - my friend wanted bubble bath but none in the catalogue. I saw some in the shop and sure enough on the order system there are about four. Anyone know how to get/ or have the full list of products? My Manager hasnt found hers yet :(.

Morning KP, it's under Full Winter Assortment on the system. Go to Stock Update, then Other Stock Info and it's under that menu. Don't rely on it though, I have found that there are some things on the system not on the list. But it is a good tool to have with you at parties when you make a point of saying we can sell everything they sell in the shop.

Whoever asked about Ananya perfume recently, we can still get the Perfume Oil at the moment. It's not on the FWA list, but is on the system.

yes!! it wont let me log in!

Can i also ask regarding xmas sellers - my recruit has asked me what she does with the products shes been sent! She doesnt want to do parties. What do i tell her? I was thinking about telling her to leave some catalogues and order forms and her kit in staff rooms, offices hairdressers etc and getting her orders that way. Any other ideas?

I logged in fine this morning, will try again.
    Nope, mine's fine, sorry.
Monica, regards to your recruit, I have told mine to take hers EVERYWHERE and then when she talks about TBSAH to EVERYBODY she meets, she can show them examples of the pruducts.
Also good for going round offices etc, or setting up a little table somewhere, then at least she will have something to show.

If anyone has that cover letter I will be eternally grateful xx
