The tips are from last week's newsletter (read online) they were sent in by consltants from all over the country in a competition and the top 10 (randomly selected as they were all so good) received £25 of products of choice. Well done Ladies!

Really need to get my own butt into gear, hence posting tips for hopeful motivation, am losing hope as parties keep cancelling/postponing and not rebooking.
Hopefully with my 2 creatives in November I will be able to get a few more bookings before Christmas.

    Hey Vicki76,

where about is the sku iv looked and cant even see it....?!?!?
Glad everyone is doing well just now.
And good to see you back online gill.
Fundraisers are good but it all depends, some people have success and some dont. I do a big fundraiser of my own every november and i pick a charity to donate the money too, last year i did it for the local midwife unit and gave them £350. previous year was for breast cancer care and this year im raising money for the hospice ward in the local hospital.
Stalls done tend to be very successful for sales, more for promotion. Fundriasers can be done as a normal party i have 2 in the first week of november. Im doing my own with a quiz night incorparated into it.
You should contact tracy and tell her your struggling i promise she's only here to help and wont bite your head off. Give her an email and she or me can arrange to come do some work with you for getting parties. Maybe going into the local store might help.
Hope you get some booked, november should be a good month for everyone.

    Luv H xxx
  • Hi all

Had THE worst party last night. Meant to start at 8pm but guests didn't arrive til 9. I did the demo (facial) and went through first few pages of the catalogue and then people started bringing me order forms. I was then told not to bother going through the rest of the catalogue as everyone had ordered! Everyone was basically there for wine and gossip. £210 in sales plus 2 bookings so could have been worse and following a chat with hostess she gave me her half price shopping by way of an apology.

TOP TIP - On Netmums site there is a thread where party planners can post for party swaps in their area. Had a couple of these recently and they've worked out well. Just make sure your party is first in case the other person cancels once they've done theirs but like I say, I've had no probs.

  • Hiya, I posted the question earlier about what is sku, as it keeps coming up on order that i havn't done it before proceeding with an order.

Seeing as though im new thought id say hi to everyone.
Have my 6 parties booked, 1st one is tuesday, so any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated, looking forward to it. :)
  • SKU is what you buy things under if you have won them. It's what i had to order my free £25 of products under.

  • Hi everyone,

Just wondering what the consultant workbook in the starter kit is meant to be used for is this something you just work through yourself or is it something to be worked through at training?

I havent done anything with mine - havent had the time! but i assume its for you to do on your own as my manager has never mentioned it to me.
  • Second party last night and went well. Still need to improve alot though. £143 sales so far with three inc host still to order (waiting for payday friday) so not too bad a result.

A neighbours party tonight so fingers crossed they are in a spending mood.
