  • Hi Ladies

I'm having my first party on friday with friends, but I am still nervous.
I have another one next week with family

Trying to do individual sales too at work and placed an advert on netmums but I'm not getting anything back with those.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong?:( I've put on if they spend £30 they get a freebie

I think my sale skills need working on

    Has anyone got any tips?
  • Hi

Im new too and finding individual orders hard to get as well. I have found the parties the best and with each one I find I am a bit more prepared and so far sales have increased a bit. I think like me youll get better at each one.

Ask if your manager or an experienced consultant can be on the other end of a phone if you gt a question like I did - what does the lip scuff do? (didnt have a clue so it didnt sell - now I know via manager Ill know for next time)

Lol, I too have no idea what Lip Scuff is, someone asked me the other day (it was out
    of stock anyway!)
So, what is it? I imagined it's a bose for your lipstick to go on?

  • Thanks for the advice Keeping Positive

I think that's where things might get a bit better with me.

I might print some posters off and stick some in the post office and one the notice boards at work.

Isnt Lip Scuff like an exfoliator for your lips?
My sister used it tons, years ago cos she had dry chapped lips

It looks a lot more gentle to the lips that what it used to be
  • hi,

I was wondering what lip scuff was the other day so i looked it up on the website :

A moisturising lip care product that gently exfoliates the lips to help remove dead skin cells, leaving the lips feeling smooth, soft and conditioned which evens the surface of the skin to better absorb Lip Colour, making it last for longer.

  • Yes it has a slightly minty taste apparently just apply to lips for exfoliation and wipe/wash off. Sounds good actually shame its out of stock.

  • I've got ttraining on Thursday, hoping that i'm gonna win something either for recruiting or sales!! fingers crossed!
  • I'm feeling a bit rubbish at the moment. My AM called last week and said I need more parties...which I do but as I'm only in it for the extra cash I'm not too worried (I have 7 booked and 2 christmas shopping nights). She told me to call everyone I knew and all old customers but I'm not comfortable with this as I don't want to bug people. I'm seeing her tonight and she wants me to call people when i'm there but feel even more uncomfortable being watched. I do this job because I thought it would be stress free but now I feel really anxious and I'm constantly thinking about it.
I haven't been doing it long and I know most of us have the same issues getting parties but there seems to be little help from my AM. I always get the comeent 'I know you'll be fine' when in truth I'm not!!!
How does everyone else find the phoning around? What do I say?
