just one query with the whole vistaprint thing - surely they can't just take money out of your bank account? i have never put my bank details in - just my card details on the payment page - so unless you have signed up to a direct debit, and given them auth to take money from your account, i didn't think they could?! x x

    Hi Alli,
Apparently they can, once you have given any card details it passes them on (with your so called permission, written somewhere in the very small print). I would not worry too much though, as plenty of people have ordered and not had any problems.

    Always read the small print!
  • Good evening all!

I had a really good party tonight (my 4th) and I'm only £25 from success start level 1. I doubt if I will get to level 2 but the level 1 products are the nicest anyway!!

I had a little assistant in the form of my hosts 5 year old daughter which was lovely!!

    xx

Hi all! Lunafayre well done on your party and almost reaching SS1!!

I had my first party in ages tonight and made.........£270!! Very pleased with that as it was so hard to keep attention with me. This group of friends havent seen each other in a long long time so it was catch up night and it was very difficult to keep focus on me so i wasnt expecting such sales. Also got a recruit lead (very promising) and 3 party leads to follow up.

ordering is either online or by phone. Online is by far the easiest method though. Are you registered as a consultant or just interested at the moment?

I thought I would post these on here for those who haven't read them and for the rest of us too, just to inspire and motivate us (and because I don't like the board being so quiet!! lol)
Thanks to all the Ladies for their great tips, some of you post on here - big thanks to you all!

    TOP 10 BOOKING TIPS

“Get each person to bring 3 friends to a party to receive a goody bag. Say that each
person who books a party between Monday and Thursday within the next 2
weeks will receive a free bottle of wine and each Host who books another
party before Christmas will receive a free Amphora and Home fragrance Oil. I have all
ready got 6 bookings by doing this so it must be working!”
Katie Downing, Consultant, South West 1 region.

“Tell a friend to have a party on at Saturday night at around 6pm. The guests can do
all their Christmas shopping over a few bottles of wine and you’ll finish off the night by
doing all their sparkly eye make-up! They are then ready to go out and hit the town
    straight after the party!”
Sarah Turcu, Consultant, Stephanie Maynard region.

“Go through your diary and give all your old Hosts a ring, make them feel really special
by pointing out that you are getting really booked up and wanted to make sure they
had the opportunity to have a party before Christmas. Book a date with them and
send them some gorgeous Body Butter samples with their pack and they will be raving
about them by the time you see them! Keep notes of leads and categorize them into:
definite bookings, likely bookings and shown interest. Work your way through the lists
to make sure you cover all the people who might want a party”.
Morwenna Milburn, Consultant, South West 1 region.

“I have two parties booked every week between mid October and mid December,
here are my top tips: Book up early and over book some weeks so that you still meet
your personal targets if some parties cancel. Most importantly BE EXCITED about
booking Christmas parties! Our gorgeous and ethical values are worth shouting
about! I tell all of my customers that buying from us is like giving twice, once to their
friends and once to our Community Trade suppliers”.
Carly Woodall , Consultant, Jan James region.

“My top tip for booking parties is when sending Christmas / Birthday cards and
invitations is to ALWAYS pop a Business Card in with each one, especially for kids
Birthday invitations as mums always read them. Promote it everywhere!”
Victoria Preston, Consultant, Elaine Atherton region.

“My top booking tip is visiting Weight Watchers and Slimming World... as women who
are losing weight deserve to make themselves beautiful. Drop in a Catalogue and a
    couple of order forms.”
Amy McAuley - Hillier Consultant, Elaine Atherton region.

“Leave a batch of Christmas Catalogues in doctors and dentists waiting rooms. Attach a
letter to the catalogue with your contact details on and outline the benefits of hosting a
    party and becoming a Consultant.”
Charlotte Angus, Consultant, Bev Ashton region.

”Buy some Christmas baubles and hole punch some TBSAH postcards and your
Business Cards. Tie the bauble, postcard and Business Card together with some
festive ribbon and deliver to friends, neighbours, colleagues, businesses etc. Fun and
    attention-capturing!”
Lindsay Evans, Consultant, Bev Ashton region.

“I find that although Host's get their catalogues well in advance and I really push preorders,
telling them to hand one to all of their invites, those that cannot come, and to
any men that they know, they often do not take advantage of this to boost their preorders.
I am offering an incentive that the Host who gains the most pre-orders (October-
December), from those not attending the party, will get to choose £20 worth of products
for free out of the new catalogue in January.
This not only boosts my sales in January, but helps me to keep in contact with them
and to hopefully they will book another party”.
Ruth Allen, Consultant, Gail Heath region.

“When you party, have a gorgeously wrapped goody bag on display (full of incentives
and samples which cost you very little on supply). Tell everyone you will let them
choose one of these products when they book a party with you—simple!”.
Carol Smith, Consultant, Lou Daly region.
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
    2 adults, 3 teens
Progress is easier to acheive than perfection.

yes received thank you very much, you are not sounding horrible, i have been trying on a council estate to no avail I am really going to have to move my butt now and get going again, just one order would be nice to get the old incentive flowing.
