Hi all hope everyone is well, im ok got 1 recruit and another (hopefully!) signing up on monday. Got a party tonight and have £119 in pre orders already which is fab. I think my hostess is expecting around 6 guests.

I had a car accident last week, got awful whiplash so hubby is the chauffeur tonight and im high as a kite on muscle relaxants and pain killers! Car is a write off too. Also, my host doesnt want a demo she thinks her friends would more appreciate me passing round products for them to try and discussing things with them. Ive done 1 party in this format before and achieved sales of £332 so i know it can work. I just ask everyone to write what they like on the order form and cross out what they dont want at the end. Many of them last time found it hard to cross anything off lol.

Re:Vista print, ive got my business cards from them and am going to send my past customers some xmas cards. Gill, sorry you had a bad experience with them, there were no boxes to tick when i ordered mine.

Ragz well done on your party its a better start than i had lol and almost halfway to success start level 1!!!

Keeping pos: I hope your next party is better. Keep your chin up. I had an awful start and still made SS L1 with 1 party to go on my last day of SS!

Hi to everyone else! Sorry for the essay!

  • After reading the vista print thread a bit more I decided to log onto vista print and cancel anything that I may have signed up to unwittingly! I have now received an email saying that my membership has been cancelled, so think I might have had a luck escape thanks to Gill!!!

If you do order off them, which is great because the stuff is fab, then make sure you read all small print, uncheck any boxes that they have already checked for you, and don't sign up to anything that looks suspicious. And keep an eye open for all email (even if it looks like spam) just in case it is an email informing you that you have signed up to anything!

Sorry to hear of your accident Monica, you must be committed if you are still out there partying!

    Take care x

i have heard of probs with Vista Print. Did you order the free cards? I heard that money comes out of people's accounts every month even though they only ordered free business cards. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=202892

i used to do Ann summers a few years ago when I was at uni and used VistaPrint then, and never had any problems, and I’ve placed about 4 orders with vista print again this time round for TBSAH and have only had what I’ve agreed to pay taken out of my account, and a few of my friends use vista print and had never had any problems – I check my bank account almost daily with online banking so can totally verify that nothing has gone out without my authorization x x

just one query with the whole vistaprint thing - surely they can't just take money out of your bank account? i have never put my bank details in - just my card details on the payment page - so unless you have signed up to a direct debit, and given them auth to take money from your account, i didn't think they could?! x x
  • woooo hoooooo!

still got 8 parties before the end of my 6 weeks too!!!

  • Well done Lippy!!

I have been using vista print for a couple of years now and never had any problems with them at all!
  • Hi, can someone explain success start to me?!?!
Is it acheiving a certain amount in your first 6 weeks?!!?
I feel like I'm gonna be at a disadvantage cos I'm only getting my kit and having my training tomorrow.........2 weeks and 3 days after the day I registered and paid my money!!!!!!!!!!!
    What do you all think?!
  • Success levels are 750, 1000 and 1600 in the first six weeks so I think you may struggle but who know a few good parties could take you to level one. I would still try to get it extended though given the stupidly long wait you have had.

  • Thank you for your support guys, today was round two of the same fundraiser and got a whole £70 and £52 was from my sister lol!. I did get a booking and a few interests in parties and recruits so may get more from that in the long run. Note to all dont so toddler or preschool kids the Mums cant concentrate for any length of time.

A party tomorrow and Sat so here's hoping for a proper party and some decent orders.
