Hiya Up to my eyes,
I would definitely recommend doing bodyshop- I have been doing really well in our area- Have done 3 parties now- first was £180, 2nd was £160 and 3rd was £240... I have also done a catalogue drop in my local streets and have another order for £250 to put through... If you want to join please contact me and I'll help you and put you in touch with my regional manager. I really enjoy it xx0 -
HI all, my first party in about 33 hours! Not that I'm counting, lol. Can't wait, I know it's going to be a good one, she has 12 confirmed guests at least and some hopeful bookings so I am thinking I may begin to make my money back this month. Really nervous as I don't have a lot to show and haven't really made host packs, I do have a mini wine bottle and box of chocs for anyone who books in the next few weeks! Hoping to get 2 bookings as we need at least 2 new ones by thursday to win something in our area comp.
Looking forwardto putting in my first order as it's for my SIL and I can order all my supply stuff!
How's everyone getting on??
Hi hun,
:rotfl: at you knowing your party is in 33 hours lol. Fantastic news that your SIL has got so many guests coming you will have a great first party, don't worry about not having alot to show just make sure you concentrate on the things you know and have used and rave about them, then point out all the lovely xmas gifts, makeup and body collections. Is there another consultant in the area or are you close enough to borrow some stuff from or your AM. I managed to get hold of pwp gift, which was really handy to have on the night (sold 2) and also I borrowed the other xmas eye palatte off the lady who recruited me which was great.
I am sure your guests will be more than happy with their choccies and wine!!!
I am really happy because my first party order arrived today, also my incentives and a few bits fom supply which is very exciting.
I have 6 more parties booked in before my success start ends so am hoping to at least make level 2 :j.

Where does everyone get their cellophane bags from to wrap gift? How much are they? Cant wait to go to my training on the 20th..Just want to get started !0

cello bags come from supply, they cost £1 for 10 medium ones or £1.25 (i think) for 10 large ones. the small ones have been out of stock since the end of August and I don't know if they will be getting them back.0

UptoMyEyes - May i ask what Nappy Cakes are? Or is that a stupid question?
My AM says she buys florists style cellophane as it's cheaper but at £1 for 10 bags that isn't bad anyway, which size does everyone use??June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

They are available on supply. £1.00 for medium size £1.25 for large. Think you get 10 in a pack but could be wrong (someone please correct me). I just get cheap ribbon and bows from pound shop to make them look more expensive!

I was wondering what a nappy cake was too!
I use the cello bags from supply but I'm seriously considering buying a roll of cellophane too because the bags don't look all that good unless they are full. A full cello bag looks great but a half full one looks a bit miserable in my opinion so I thought that getting a roll of cellophane would let me be a bit more flexible when I want to give fewer, higher value items or when I want to give a smaller pack to a host who hasn't done a very good job for me.0 -
Hi all who are asking bout cellophane bags, cellophane roll is great, 60m roll from hobbycraft for £3.50
I make up hostess gift pack if someone says yes to a party, i put in 3 xmas catalogues, 20 invitations, bath lily, a shower gel or any other incentive and also put sparkling confetti and a pretty bow on it
also good for any prizes you do for games, etc

i was wondering about nappy cakes so i googled it! nappy cakes are made in the shape of a cake, and the tiers are filled with stuff you'd need for a new born baby - its more an american thing, but has been coming over here quite a bit more now x x0
