  • Well done Fiona, that was a fantastic party. Go you!!

I have just managed to to get £50 of free shopping and then my additional £25 that i won. Ordered more mineral make-up shades, a lots of spa wisdom stuff, xmas make-up, rich plum stuff and a few £5 body butters!

Dunno how i managed to get that much but I'm not complaining!!

also, people love free stuff - and the amount of people who i've had ask me how much it'd cost them to have a party.......if it doesn't cost them, and they get free stuff, and they get free shopping and half price shopping - at the end of the day they can get quite a lot for holding a party - don't go overboard and end up being out of pocket!!

everyone who i asked what they thought of the pamper pack were well impressed, and then to get extra bits on top for party bookings/pre-party sales etc, they were quite amazed so i wouldn't go to over the top - because also their reward for getting more sales is the free and half price shopping - that is what its there for!!! x x

So let me get this straight. I need to create a pamper pack for my host for booking the party? Is this necessary or will her host rewards do. Right now all I have is my starter kit, I haven't bought anything from supply. I was planning to have my first party and see what happens (I'm the host for the first one anyway).

I'm trying not to spend money unnecessarily until I have made something back. But I know the little samples of things are good to have to pass round, games etc.
  • Hi ladies

Just wanted to say hi as haven't posted for a while. There are some great ideas being posted on here. Love the pamper pack idea. I have been struggling with getting bookings from parties recently think the problem has been the number of people there - I know that's a good thing as far as sales are concerned but the more people there the less chance I get for a 1-2-1 chat with everyone to push bookings and recruits. Will definitely try the pamper pack idea at party Thursday.

I have been at a meeting with my Senior Area Manager today as looking to promote out to AM asap. I am going to do some creatives in local high street and shopping centre. Bit worried as will have to take my 9 month old with me but maybe he will help as people may stop to talk to him!! Has anyone done this and how did you get on? Keep thinking of the numbers i.e., for every 10 leads you should get 1 interview etc but November seems very close!

I have hopefully got a weekend job in local Body Shop store and I have been told that I can talk about TBSAH as much as I like to customers so hoping to get some interest from there. Do any other Consultants work in store?

Good luck to anyone having parties tonight.

    xx

valencia, you don't have to do anything!! it is up to you to give the host what rewards you want - you can just use what you get from supply for this purpose. i just think its good for getting bookings in if you give an impressive hostess pack, in a cellopane bag tied wiht a bow - and everything i've mentioned putting in mine has literally cost me less than about £3 - if i make an 'ultimate one' for special incentives then that will only cost me about £5 (i've set myself a limit of £5 for hostess gifts because i'll give them that whatever the party is and if sales aren't a lot then you could be out of pocket)

    Hi Valencia

No it isn't essential that you give the host anything in addition to her free and half price shopping. I wouldn't advise spending anything until you have done your first party and can then order the little incentives then. I usually put a free sample into everyone's bags who have spent over a certain amount say £25.

I have spoken to so many people that spend a lot on supply and additional products before their first party and they regretted it as they hadn't even earned commission. If you want little items to pass round for games what about some chocs or something?

As you're the host for the first party you can use your free and half price shopping to build your kit so no point paying out for additional products before then.

also if you order only supply, you still have to pay £5 p&p so your best waiting till you have a hostess whos near you, then order your supply items with her order, to avoid unnecessary outgoings x
  • Hi Guys!

Love the host pack, I dont go mad- Just a bath lily (though they are currently out of stock on supply) and a shower gel with some samples... The hosts dont expect much... For my games and raffle I just get a box of £1 chocs out of woolies and again my raffle prize is something cheap and cheerful! Is anyone from Essex on here? xx
