I wonder how long it will take me to break even!
So far I have:
Clocked up 288 miles (I had to travel really far for training and my initial meeting with my AM)
Spent £273 on my kit, supplies, raffle prizes, shipping etc.
And I have only made back
£50 on commission
£11 on a raffle
Ok so I have only had 2 parties and I want to be really organised in advance but these figures are a bit shocking!!
Anyone else in the same boat? I got into this to make money!! When will I break even!! LOL

OMG. How come you have only made £50 in commision? What were your party sales? I'm making £100+ a party.
Is there no one local to you who can transfer too? How come you had to go and see your AM, they normally come to you! I would ring HO and find out if anyone local. That's bad. And if there isn't any AM's local- perfect opportunity for you!!!!!!!0 -
I was told on friday you need 5 recruits to be an EC, but 1 of them can be indirect.
re- booking 2 parties for the £10 free shopping, they will email your AM to make sure you do them, so if your AM is OK with you faking them then it's up to you but if not she'll be cross lol! Also it costs us £2 so you'd only really get £8, is it worth it?
I'm happy as my cancellations have rebooked and I am definitely going to make my SS now. I have my first party on Wednesday and have been told she already has 12 confirmed guests (it's my SIL and she's trying really hard bless her!). She does great parties as she's a fab host and I didn't need to coach her because she has parties all the time. She's already got some preorders too so I am hopeful for this one! Only worry is the following parties will be a total let down, but I will try my best, I am so excited about my new "job" and can't wait to start recruiting!
I joined after going to a kind of open evening thing, a lot of us in my team joined from that. Our consultant got to invite 3 people and she knew I was already interested, so if you want to recruit that worked pretty well!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I have a party on that date i said anyway so makes no odds. And £8 of free shopping is better than nout! buys something for your kit!
Exec consultant is 4 recruits, had alook on the website. Just need 2 more to qualify and then im done , got my 4th one signed up yesterday and only been doing it since end of July so doing well!0 -

Hi Cherrypie,
My first party made £130 and my second £78, but I do have 9 more in the pipeline and a potential Body Shop function at a local pub, so I know it will get better.
I live in Scarborough, and am in the North Yorkshire region. I am the only consultant in Scarborough. When I signed up my AM invited me to a Body Shop evening in York to meet her, and wanting to be flexible I said yes - York is about 45 miles away.
Training for my region was in Huddersfield - 85 miles away. I went to the initial training and was gutted to find out I had to attend 3 more sessions to get certified - and on weeknights too. So my AM is going to train me and another lady at one of our houses next week which is fantastic.
Consultant meetings are also held in Huddersfield and I think it is ridiculous to expect me to go regularly, especially when I have work in the morning, it's dark and the A64 has barely any street lights. It takes me an hour and 45 minutes each way!!

My spends are
£11 cards and labels via bodyshop
£95 kit
£65 supply
£6 cards and lables via vista print
miles havent added up but training times two 90 mile round trip - 40 mile round trip to managers house - 30 miles to meet manager plus other ickle journeys. Adds up to at least 250 miles.
OH and £100 golf trolley for OH for looking after kids
Cant wait to actually party and make some money. Im doing it mainly for fun but want to at least break even!:j0 -
Lunafyre- isn't my region closer to you than York? Cleveland (Redcar). I know theres no one in Scarborough as me and my AM are planning a trip to the store to get some parties and recruits booked in!0

As far as I am aware as I live in North Yorkshire, I am classed as North Yorkshire region.
I went to the Body Shop in Scarborough to ask if I could come in and pimp for parties/recruits and they said I could do that anytime but I am not sure I will yet.:starmod: Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice :starmod:0
