personally I've got all the mini body butters and the cherry blossom EDT but I've got all of them using unwanted 1/2 price shopping earned by hosts. or by spending my own £10 in order to make a party up to £130 and getting the free shopping myself. I wouldn't advise getting too much stuff at full price if you can help it, the only thing I've done that for is the mini cranberry body butter as i neeed a sample from that range. I've tried to get something of each kind and something from each fragrance i.e. my moringa shower gel from success start 1 could count as a shower gel and also a moringa sample.

I try to get one product from each range and have most things now. I get most my stuff from kit build or like elliep said, topping up to get the next level of sales ,I also use my commision to build my kit up.Another good way this month is the two party booking earning the host £10, if no one books thn you just lie and then the £10 is yours.

Valencia- you will do your £425 easy, most parties this time of year are in their £400's so one party could see you do that. i did a £424 party last night!

Hi all

I have submitted my details on the UK site to enquire about becoming a consultant, I have done party plan before a long time ago but not body shop, I just have a couple of questions

Firstly, why do people book body shop parties when they can just get stuff from the shops instead?, this is just so I have an answer when I am trying to get people to have parties for me!

How long will it be before someone contacts me about it?

I have read through a lot of this thread to get some answers to my other questions but please forgive me if these questions have been asked before!

I asked my consultant at my party the same thing. Things she said include:
- you can buy the products in the comfort of your own home
- you can purchase some products which are exclusive to BSAH
- you can get some special offers which are exclusive to BSAH.

If there are any more reasons I would love to know to, because from a customer perspective I have a 'Love your Body' card, so it would actually be cheaper to buy instore, so it would good to have reasons for those type of people.

Did you check the front page of this thread before sending your details to head office??
It lists all the areas covered by us girls here on MSE, and that would be the quickest way of getting someone to contact you.

H/O will pass your details to your nearest area manager, probably on Monday, and it will just depend on her/him and how busy they are before they ca contact you.

Please people don't listen to cherrypie's suggestion that you should lie about booking parties to get the host reward. Body Shop used to have this offer but it got so abused that they took it away. They've now brought it back as a one month trial to see if we can all be trusted to use it to actually get bookings. they will be checking if you hold and place orders for the dates that you tell them are booked and they will be looking at the overall percentage of orders that take advantage of this offer. If everyone abuses it then it will not be re-instated as a long term offer and I'm sure that everyone will agree that we want it as a long term offer because of the usefulness for getting bookings.

Well it's what my AM told me to do lol. I got two parties bookings last night, one from party one from else where so not lied totally!

You can honor the discount card yourself to get people to use TBSAH, plus they come to us discounted to that of the store anyway and we have all the exclusives that the store doesn't have, plus it's a great excuse for a girly night in!

Sorry to rant girls....and I promise to keep it brief(ish!)
Right.......registered my interest to be a BSAH consultant last wk of Sept - wanted the xmas freebies which is why I wanted to join in sept. Had a letter from BSAH to say that someone would be in touch with me. A SAM e-mailed me to say my name had been passed to me and she would ring me the following day. I hadnt heard anything from her so on 29th sept I e-mailed again to say I wanted to get in on the sept offer.....so she rang - she mailed me forms etc and I had to pay up and fax off the forms first thing on the 30th!!!! Anyway - my kit was sent to her - which is about an hour and half drive from me and she said she would be in touch to arrange training!! I'm still waiting!!!!! She mailed me yesterday to say she has been trying to get in touch (she has my mob number and landline - both of which have answering machines and yet no messages have been left!) and we need to do training as I am not going to reach my target number of parties!!!!!! How can I do a party with no kit!!!!!?????
Sorry - but I am getting disillusioned. I was so looking forward to starting - but now just feel like I've got a really bad impression of my "line manager" and we havent met!!!!!
What do you think I should do??? My Husband says - complain and go over her head!!! Men!!!!! I also had forms to fill out about how many parties I have booked for oct, nov & dec and they HAVE to be back ASAP - yet there isnt that urgency for my training and to get my kit - that I have paid for!!!!!!!!
AM I being unreasonable?!?!?!!?!?!?
Wish I was in a different team!!!!!!

On the website it says if you join in Oct for £95 you get the christmas seasonal kit free?
