    Hi All,
New BSAH consultant here! Been registered a week, got my kit, done a fair and some book drops and just placed my first order for a "party" at £230. Hard work but worth it!! LOVE Body Shop products. I have my Induction training tomorrow and I can't wait...really excited I'm in the Southampton area. Not read the whole thread yetbut going to tonight. I'm hoping to up my BSAH income and go through the management levels and be able to not go back to work after my maternity leave ends next April. Big plans, nervous but excited about the challenge.
looking forward to sharing hnts and tips!

Oh wow you seem to be doing so well already. Can i ask you what you were selling at the fair? Or did you just put out catalogues for people to take away and promote the parties?

You said you did book drops too. Where did you 'drop' them?

sorry for the questions! Just really interested!

    Hi gill37 :)
I don't know how young your little ones are but I'm wondering do you take them to any parent and toddler groups? Maybe you could take some catalogues with you for the mums, (and dads) to look at while their children are playing :) You may even be able to set up a little table and do a fundraiser for the toddler group :) After that the mums may be interested in taking some catalogues with them to show their friends and family - you can offer them free goodies the same as a hostess :) Some ladies I know who haven't got the time to party do this for me - I call them my Body Shop babes :) I will be starting a little newsletter for them in time :)
    Hope this helps :)

Hi, I dont go to any groups as I have only just started on mat leave and was working ft up till now. my little girl will start nursery on wednesday so i will test the water with mums then. I am interested in perhaps doing some fairs etc (what with xmas coming up) or doing the party in a bag idea. I really love the products and believe in them - which helps!! - but its just the initial outlay and getting people to buy (parties just are not feasible for me).

I am going to wait until bambino is born (hopefully in 4 wks) and will keep checking this forum for ideas etc before i take the plunge (again).

    thanks for your suggestions, Jen.:T

My girlfriend is thinking of starting this up, how much time does it take up? Has it got potenial to earn a fair bit of extra cash? How does she start it up? Would anyone be willing to offer me some advice i can pass onto her, or even if someone could get in contact? We live in the Warwick/Hatton Area. Many Thanks. Jez
  • Hi,
Sorry this has probably been posted hundreds of times before but I searched and couldn't see it  !

I am starting college (2nd year of beauty therapy) and work at a coffee shop 25 hours a week. My free time is only after 7pm on an evening and I work every day of the week (wish I hadn't got a mortgage/car etc so young!)

I love body shop products and came across this thread whilst searching for ways to make extra cash. Is it something that needs a lot of time spent towards making it succesfull ? Thanks.

I am in the Solihull/Shirley area
