Thanks for that Gill37, very helpful.
I'm thinking of joining up to make some money for Christmas. Can anyone tell me when the Christmas catalogue will be out? I don't want to join up now and get Summer catties in my kit when the Christmas one will probably be available in a few weeks.0 -
Hi All
Gosh haven't been on here for ages. Hope you're all doing well?
4Kidcod - the christmas catalogues don't come out til October. There will be a fab september preview booklet to use alongside the current ones so this really would be a perfect time to join.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Hi, wondering if anyone could possibly help me out.
Me and one of my friends are both starting out doing this, my friend has her first party on the 9th and I have mine on the 15th then after that we're going to join forces.
I was just wondering if its better or worse actually being with someone?
Also, do we have to register ourselves as self-employed?
Finally, I'm looking into getting some business cards done but what can I put on them, am I allowed to put bodyshop@home on them at all?
Thanks x0 -
Hi all,
I've been avidly lurking in the forum for a while now and thinking about joining BS@H to make some ££ for ChristmasSpeaking of which, I see the new Christmas BS@H brochure is now available online, so I guess now would be a good time to join!
Before doing so, I have a few questions and I'd be really grateful if those of you with experience could answer them for me x
1/ How can customers pay for goods? Cash only?
2/How can consultants pay for goods - cash, debit/credit card?
3/ Are there delivery charges, if so what are they - same as online store?
4/ Delivery of goods can be to the consultant's address or the party host's address only, is that correct?
5/ Are consultants able to buy stock at cost/wholesale price, to sell at fair/Market? Or do we get any other discount? If so, would purchasing goods at a reduced price contribute to the £150 minimum for each rolling 3 month period?
6/ Do consultants have permission to use 'The Body Shop' logo online or in print?
7/ Other than party host benefits, customer offers on specific product sets (that I believe aren't available online or in-store) and having the opportunity to 'try before you buy, in the comfort of your own home), what are the benefits for customers - why would they keep buying from a consultant instead of going in-store or purchasing online, direct from The Body Shop? I'm trying to understand the additional value of buying from a consultant - I appreciate in the run up to Christmas the chance to shop away from the hustle and bustle of busy shopping centres, but if I have to wait for products I'm personally buying, I expect the delay in receiving the order, to be balanced out by getting the goods at a cheaper price, or alternatively, obtaining a product that is not available in store, perhaps due to demand or it being limited to BS@H customers.
Not trying to be controversial, just really interested in this, and want a better understanding before making a commitmentx As an existing and loyal Body Shop customer, I'm very much aware of the on-going offers to buy in-store and online, and wondering how consultants manage to compete!
Any answers, advice etc is very much appreciated - thanks!0 -
