  • Hello everyone,

I've just registered interest online in becoming a Body Shop at Home consultant. Just wondering what you get in the current £40 starter bag and if there are any other costs involved please?
I am VERY excited though as I love The Body Shop and I will be having my first baby in 7 weeks time so hoping to get up and running so that I can maintain a healthy social life from it afterwards as well as earning to buy lots of nice treats for my little boy when he arrives! :-)

It would be nice if there is anyone out there who is also starting up for similar reasons? Or if anyone knows of anyone else who is a consultant with young children??

    Thanks :-) xxx
  • Hi everyone :)

I'm really interested in finding out more about becoming a consultant and wondered if there are any managers in the Bromley area who would be willing to chat to me about it?

I work part time and freelance so am looking for a way to have some more money coming in and this seems ideal.

One of my concerns is the arranging 4 parties in your first 4 weeks - is this difficult? I don't know too many people in the area having just moved here - and presumably it's easier to get people you know to host parties at first rather than advertising for strangers?

    thanks :)

Hi Amber , have pm'd you hun!

How is everyone else getting along??

I've loved having a long lazy sunny bank holiday and am all raring to go again in the morning!

Keen to try and cement some more parties into may! All the fridays in June are now booked which is pretty exciting!

Am determined to win the trip this year too, so my planning starts early lol!!

How's everyone found the offers this month - weren't they fab?

    xx

    Hi Amber and welcome :hello:
Mel_R has some amazing tips hunny - she is an absolute star :) Two fab websites for you and anyone else to look at is https://www.thepartyplanexpert.com and https://www.partyplandivasinc.com - I have found these websites a huge inspiration as well as being very helpful :) Look out for the free webinar on the party plan expert website - it's got some really great tips for getting bookings with people you have never met before, we term these as creative bookings :)
Good luck - I've been involved with many party plan companies and I can promise you that this company is by far the easiest that I have found to run as well as the one I have found the most profitable :)

    Hi everyone,

I heard from a friend that unless you make over a certain amount from sales you don't get paid, is this true? I hope not as I am really interested!!

    Hi Everyone,

I’ve just signed up to be a Summer Temp with TBS@H. I was under the impression that I would just be doing catalogue sales, but am already disappointed to discover the cost to buy the catalogues, and the delivery charges.
The manager who signed me up didn’t explain any of this, and now I’m very unsure I want to proceed… anyone else joined for the summer under this ‘new’ scheme? Anyone have any further info?

    Thanks

Did you not realise when you took on the self employed role you would have expenses.?

Did you pay joining fee. ?

Did they tell you had to do 4 parties in first 4 weeks.?
