leopardlady i see u went into an office (congrats on the sales there bet u were well pleased)...i'd love to try selling this way but don't think i'd be very convincing as i'm a bit shy, and i don't know what kind of offices to try, any ideas or tips??

    xx
    Hi Katy

With the office, i just set up my kit on a table and someone from the office had let a number of people know i was going to be there, then i just waited. I answered a few questions, but most people just wanted to buy some christmas pressents and rush back to work.

Many of those who turned up then told others in their office about the 20% off the gift sets, so more people came up. But my sales were mainly from one guy who wanted to get christmas sorted, so he bought 5 coconut gift sets and 3 macca root gift sets! He was thrilled and left before i had told him he had saved 20%! He also took the catalogues to a course he is studying on as the guys there seemed keen on getting christmas so easily sorted.

Hope this helps, i don't think you need much confidence, just trust the kit, it does sell itself :)
    Good luck everyone:j

  • ah thanks for that, I think the 20% off Christmas gifts and accessories is brill when selling this way so might have to give it a go.

I can't wait for my last order to arrive, did a bit of personal shopping on it and got one half of my families Christmas pressies all bought, feels such a relief to get some of it out the way!

  • Hi guys!

Great to see the board so busy

Just looking for some help really as my last two parties booked are this week and they are the only ones so far not done with friends or family.
I need some help in how I go about getting bookings as if I don't get any from these my partying will come to a stop :(
Any tips would be much appreciated :)
  • Have you heard of the star date? Put the dates you want parties on your board and have ready made gift bags with better gifts for the closer parties then keep them on display. Tell the ladies that these could be presented to them at their party if they book.

Also do you do the free prize draw? These can be good at getting leads that you can call back. Either do a draw on the night and use some samples as a reward or a monthly draw with a bigger prize.

Dont forget fundraisers - say you can support any cause they would like to raise money for.

All these ideas came from our senior area manager Julia Bassett last night.

  • hi, I need to buy some TBS products nearlly every month, most of them will be the same items, however the amount varies and I can't promise that it will be big to begin with. I am not interested to become a consultant, so if any of you would like to add a little bit more to your sale, please pm me with what you could offer me. Thank you very much.

  • Hi irisbaby i agree with lippy1966, check the first thread and see who is nearest then pm them, we would all love a regular order, no matter how small, so welcome and see what you can get from here :)

How is everyone doing for bookings in December and Jan? we have a phone in on the 2nd December that garuntees a prize for every party booked! So get booking, now with all the 20% off should make more people happy to buy and from monday only 15% VAT! So how good is all of that!

    Good luck girls :)

What's that about VAT and how ill that affect us? I'm confused?

The VAT rate has been cut from the 1st of December from 17.5% to 15%.
New price lists will be emailed to us on Friday.
It doesn't make much difference - A £10 product would have a new price of £9.79 (unless TBSAH are going to round down/up).
