  • Hi Everyone

Quick question about delivery of goods. When they all come to you, should the bags be open or closed? The reason I ask is that twice now they have come to me closed. How am I supposed to check the order without opening the bag?
  • Well done Welshgirl! You sound buzzing! No better feeling than getting home and counting your pennies!!!
I might try your approach and go throught the catalgue with a fine tooth comb! x

the bags in the order are supposed to be sealed closed with a sticker. But then they are 'supposed' to be delivered straight to the host and not via you.
I like to have them delivered to me but I tend to not open them to check the orders unless there are incentives in there that I ordered but don't want to give to the customers, or that kind of thing. I check the bag sizes - big bag for her, small bag for her, seems about right but it's not an accurate way of checking.

Morning all. Whoever asked about fairs etc, yes just display as much as possible, have your catalogues out to browse, give out flyers and free samples and maybe have hostess git/pamper packs on display and host packs ready for when people book. I made a sign that said "free delivery in Heathfield for all orders placed today", also one offering hand and arm massages for a small fee, but next time I will offer them free just to get people sitting down to chat too. Do pick your venues carefully though and find out what other stalls will be there. I was a bit of an afterthought at mine which was really a craft fair and I had little interest. You may want to have a few little things there to sell but that's up to you as it is a risk. I bought quite a lot but most was with the free/half price shopping from my home party or stuff from allocations so I didn't pay full for anything. But now I have a lot of stock to get rid of by xmas! Well, we learn by our mistakes, now you can all learn from mine too!
I did one on saturday that was a total wash out but I have another in a few weeks that I am more confident about as it's being advertised as a pamper evening.

Well my 2nd party last night, 7 people turned up, so already looking better than the first one! The evening went really well and they all really enjoyed themselves and said i was very professional! which was nice :)

Made £163 so host was happy as she got some stuff free and her new man gave her some money to spend so she got a fare bit. All good and she e-mailed me to say she had forgotten to add the donation to COTE so could i do that when i put it all through. She also said her guests had said what a great evening it was so i am pleased.
Next party on Thursday, so lets keep getting better at this:)
Thanks Katy, it was good :)

Congrats leopardlady, glad your party was good. Onward and upwards eh? Have fun on Thursday!
My next is on Friday, don't actually have any others booked in after that but a few friends who promised they'd have one then cancelled have said they will have theirs by xmas. Tho one has now signed up as a xmas seller so not sure about her now!
Got the pamper evening on the 24th so hoping that has a bit more success than the gift fair and I may actually manage to get some parties from it! Also hoping to sell the stuff I bought for the last one, I am seriously considering asing for my money back for that. The weater wasn't their fault but the fact that I was stuck practically in a doorway in the freezing cold room did nothing for my business. Also, my table was put in front of the leaflets on sexual health and drugs (was in a youth club, though not raising any money for charity!) so when people walked by their eyes were drawn to them and they just stood there reading the posters about chlamydia! I was not impressed!
    Sorry, rant over.

    Afternoon Ladies,

Glad to see everyone is doing fairly well. I cant believe how big this thread has got!
I didnt think id get anyone on here and look at it a thriving little community :D

anyway back to buisness, hope everyone has a good november lined up, i can tell you all from experience this is the month to party, this is the biggest spending month in the whole year and constomer spend nearly doubles!

the topic on jan parties, its hard, this will be my third january and i' be honest the first one i had no parties and last year my auntie had a party for me, we did it as a detox party and she did quite well from it even i was surprised. I used the spa wisom stuff and some people had brought money they had been given for christmas to treat themselfs and others were buying birthday pressies or just enjoying the limited edition sale items.

Valencia, you mentioned about the sealed bags, they should be sealed, i never get an order delivered to me ever, i always deliver to the host its one less job for you to do. she then hands the bags out to her friends and family and you have nothing to do with it unless theres a prob and in 2 and a half years iv had 2 problems with orders! so trust me the stuff is always fine and well wrapped.

Im partying tonight, thursday and having my big fundriaser on friday which im so nervous for, i keep thinking its going to be a distaster and no-ones going to come?!?!
  • Hi all,
I don't know if this is something anyone on here can help me with, I can't get hold of my manager so have left a msg for her, but in the meantime I'm a bit worried.
I joined TBSAH 2 months ago, but because I was in the car accident straight after I have been inactive since (finally starting my parties this wk!), I've been going to all the meetings since I was able to drive again, but have been locked out of the consultant website for not placing orders. There's a number to ring, but it begins 1-800, and I can't get through to it on my mobile or landline. Does anyone know of an alternate num to get through to support/care centre?
I'm worried cause my 1st part is on thurs and I have no way of checking the SUL or of course placing the orders after, and have no access to relevant offers and info on the site.
Sorry for the v long explanation! Any ideas?

Hi all! well, for my £20 free shopping i went for the 'simply purify' starter kit from the well being range and it smells lovely! Good choice i think. My party for Friday has cancelled :( but shes agreed to a party in a bag and said if she makes the free shopping i can have it because of the inconvenience shes caused (my mum in law!). So hopefully she will get a few orders for me and if its only a small one (which i suspect it will be otherwise she wouldnt give her freebies away, trust me!) i'll add it onto the next party which is on 14th which is promising to be a good one - 20 invites have gone out so hoping for 10 guests at least lol.

Wish people wouldnt promise to have parties and then cancel at the last min!
