HI Hezza, was wondering where you'd gone, don't think we've seen you on here for a while. Loving our "little community" thanks so much for creating it! lol
What's the January Sale like? My old AM hinted about it but didn't say much, if it's an incentive to getting hosts to rebook then shouldn't we know asap?

Monica, I know what you mean about people cancelling, but remember, most of them don't realise this is our JOB and we are relying on it working. Never mind, recruit them, then they'll appreciate it!
Got 3 more of the catalogues back that I dropped last week, still no orders, any advice anyone? Apart from better timing, leave them longer.
I think it puts people off that they have to pay upfront, personally I wouldn't be happy leaving cash or even bank account details on my doorstep!
I feel bad for my xmas sellers I recruited as I told them they'd be able to do it like avon. Now I don't know what they're going to do.

Hi everyone, I have my first party of the month on Friday and there are going to be 15 guests so I'm hoping it will be a good one. Only got 3 booked in this month so far (and one of them is hosted by me!!). A couple of weeks ago I sent some letters to local slimming clubs but haven't heard back from anyone, grrr! Today I took some brochures into a hotel I used to work at so I'm hoping I might get a couple of orders from staff. I don't think I am going to do any brochure selling as I don't want it to be a waste of time. Has anyone taken brochures into any businesses and got a good result?xx

p.s - Yep I have seen the offer on this months PWP, I think this has been done because the PWPs aren't selling as good as the previous one. x

Have found out today that i am being fast tracked to AM hopefully by the end of the month!

Well done Lippy! I got promoted out last week... its all a bit mind blowing at the mo!

Hows everyone finding booking parties from parties? Its one thing that I think as a team we are struggling with... any hints & tips would be greatly appreciated!

How about a booking box or booking board???You could give everyone who books a party a raffle ticket and do a little pamper pack as a prize, draw it once a month or something. Or get a little calendar and write incentives on dates when you have parties available, like free bottle of wine or 10% off any 1 item on the night of the party ( I am sure you can think of better incentives) let them choose a date and tell them their incentive. If you take a diary with you write a couple of fake parties in and try and book a party on one of those days by saying I have a party on this date but it's my next door neighbour and she's lovely and I am sure she wouldn't mind swapping I'll write your name in and check with her. Then the next day ring her and say you spoke to neighbour and she is so lovely that she has swapped her party so your ok to do her party on the booked date, she should think you made such an effort for her that she wont want to cancel.

These are probs crap ideas but you get the gist. xx
