Thanks for the tip Vicky I have put a post on as I wouldn't mind having one of the childrens books or toys parties.

  • hello!

Just wondered if anyone knows how to add £10 free shopping to host if you get 2 party bookings within 4 weeks of their party? Thank you x

when you enter the customers then enter the dates they booked, the computer will automatically give the host the £10 shopping.

I had a little bit of a problem getting my overpayments back and so did my first recruit (sounds like yours is ok KP?). Basically I didn't get paid. It was easy to fix by calling consultant support though, when the person entered my registration they forgot to register my bank details at the same time so they just didn't have my details. If you don't get paid on friday (all parties entered before wednesday will get paid on friday, after wednesday and you have to wait for the next friday) then give them a call to check your details.
  • Hi all

Congratulations to everyone that achieved their SS and sales levels in October. I had a few cancellations and narrowly missed out on sales level 1. TBH wasn't that fussed about the make up anyway probably would have done a bit more if it was something really good.

However I REALLY want the Morrocan Rose stuff this month. Have 6 parties in Nov but my 10 month old son has an operation on 24th so have a whole week where I'm not partying. This is what is great about this job - I can decide exactly when I want to work I love it!!

Just wondering how people are doing for January bookings?? My manager is pushing for all hostesses in November to be rebooked for January but I'm not convinced. I know there will be the sale but surely everyone's going to be skint. I have mentioned the new theme at my last couple of parties but just get the usual "I'll be paying off my credit card bills so can't afford it".

Have people had any luck with January bookings? If so, what's your secret?? My manager has been doing this for years so has a few regular hostesses who will book just to see the new catalogue but as I'm still fairly new I haven't got any "regulars" yet.

HI BodyShopBabe. I have the same worries regarding January. I am having enough trouble with people saying they can't afford to come to/host a party for Christmas I have NO idea how we are going to get people to host in the New Year. I know there's a sale but if you've spent all your money on Christmas (and probably put it all on CCs) why would you want to spend more?
I really wanted to do this as an all year thing but I don't think it's going to be worth my while if I can't get any parties after Christmas.

  • Hi Ragz

Don't give up that easily - you've been doing great. Agreed January is likely to be slow but once that's out the way hopefully we will start gettng some more bookings. I think I'm literally going to go through my white copies and phone everyone to see if they'll book in the new year. If I can get any at all it will be a start.

Just think my manager is being a little unrealistic expecting every hostess from now to Christmas to rebook in January!! I was thinking of offering a special new year incentive but lacking ideas at the mo.

Completey off tangent but don't suppose you know how to treat baby diarrhoea do you? I can't keep up with it! GP just says to keep hydrated but can you give them immodium or alternative? His little bum is red raw and he's in pain. Sorry that's slightly gross but don't know what to do.

Hi BSB, I've had little ones with that problem all week! When they had it really had few months ago I was giving them Dioralite to hydrate them is he being sick too? Temperature? Or just the poo? Not really much you can do about it to be honest, is has to get out of his system somehow! Keep barrier cream on his bum ALL the time, will stop the acid in the poo irritating his little bum. Good luck, hope he recovers soon, tends not to last too long usually.
