    UNBELIEVABLE

    :(:(:(

Our bathroom is doomed - DOOMED I tell you
Oh no, this doesn't affect the fitting of your bathroom does it? I can't remember if you're getting a plumber in or diy.

People have been bidding on my radiator :( Bad people! Hope it's noone here!

It could delay it (again) - we're having the bath taps positioned mid-way down the wall-side of the bath, so the fitter would much rather have them sooner rather than retro-fit.

Mr Phirefly's been given strict instructions to swallow his pride and get back in touch with Michael Pavis who we were origially going to buy them from and see if they still have the set they ordered infor us....

    Good luck with your auction!

Apologies to all - its boring ME now too, but I have to vent. Called the tap manufacturers today who said their system is indeed showing no stock of the taps I ordered, but there's actually 18 in stock, and our stockist should be able to obtain them. So I called the stockist, homesupply and she's 'looking into it'. Tedious :(

Well thanks for your interest - I'm sure you're just being polite! Just had an email back from homesupply stating that subsequently to my phonecall, the bath taps have now been picked at Mayfair and are due to be with them (homesupply) on Friday.

You're right, very much a computer sez no moment, not really homesupply's fault. had I not intervened though we'd have been up the creek without a tap. The chap at Mayfair initially was not too keen on dealing with a non-trade enquiry but I'm glad I persevered as I appear to have got the ball rolling...

My days you REALLY rate that cabinet dont you?! You on commission?! Seriously though, after having shopped around, you're right, its great value for the size.

I'm after a tall thin one now though - any suggestions anyone?

EEEE by the way its coming together, basin taps arrived today and they're so wonderful I got about as excited as a person could over an inanimate object. At this rate I'm going to need sedating once the actual bathrooms done....

Until Mr. Phirefly helpfully pointed out that the spout is damaged.

    Oh no :(

Bad news from me - i didn't win the radiator :(
  • I got a second chance offer :D I have a radiator!!! Paid £161, plus £30 for valves so I'm quite happy with that. Saved just under £100 compared to the other one I wanted.
  • I'm sorry to hear you've had some bad experiences with eBay. I've only had bad experiences selling, as I got conned out of a game once. But so far, no problems buying. OH bought Oakley frames recently, but they didn't fit and had no problems returning them.

You must be special :) But that's not a bad thing. Now I'm off to try and get a meal for £10 from M&S. I hope there's something left.
