Can I ask where you got your money tins from? I want to get something to save £2 coins in to go towards the wedding, that I can't open easily. I like the look of those terramundi jars, but they are SOOOOO expensive!
hi bigbird
they sell them in the pound shops usually...it's a metal tin with just a slot in the top, and the only way you can get into it is by using a tin opener!! they're about 10" tall. oh you can also get them in B&M if you have one near you0 -

Okay, I am declaring my July budget for...
£119.72
MUST TRY HARDER!!!!!!
I did spend £12 at the Julian Graves sale, but that total does not include the £5 I spent on butter (someone else paid for it for me). I have been keeping a food waste diary and I have thrown away a lot of stuff this month.
Made some Weetabix brownies but they all fell apart  I melted the chocolate and added a bit of milk. That was probably why. Don't think I will melt the chocolate again, I prefer the texture of choc chips.
Anyway, I have the *whole* weekend off, so am planning on doing some batch cooking - chilli, yoghurt cake...etc
Think I will have to buy a blender for soup - I actually have 3 Kenwood Chefs with attachments but ex-OH will not let me have them!!!! I would not mind that much but one of them is specifically MINE and has been in my family for 50 years, so I'm pretty upset about it.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

I figure the amount of power it uses is made up by the fact that we get more slices.
Also leave to cool before slicing (even if the warm bread smell is so tempting!).

£47.40 in asdas for me today which was a bit more than i intended but i did get the dog a new toy(he loves the squeeky toy chicken they do) and washing powder
good luck everyone:beer:0 -
I spent £5.49 in Iceland and £8.56 in Mr A-but that included a big sack of onions for £1.98! I love onions. Am annoyed that Asda seems to have stopped making the really good cheap handwash I used to buy, they only had 1 choice of the antibacterial stuff in today which was 3 times the price. I liked the stuff I was using as it didn'r make my hands sore like a lot of the cheap stuff.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

I know it is hideously unhealthy but when buying prizes for a kids club I am running I stocked up on sweets in Mr A's. My local seems to have reduced lots of the 'pocket money' sweets to the prices they were when I was younger, 10p curly wurlys, 4p mini haribo packets.
Is it worth getting a Kenwood Chef? I am looking for an investment present to put on my Christmas list (my grandma will be requesting a list shortly...)God is good, all the time
