:hello: Hello!
I don't normally post in here, but I think I might get more of a response to a suggestion I put forward here to have a separate board for groceries (like shop but don't drop, and grabbit, but without the trampolines, hotel rooms, crocs etc. etc.). If anyone would be interested can you post on the thread so admin can consider it... if not then ignore me and let it drop off the page
PS Does anyone ever go on the Site Feedback board apart from the Arms lot to continue arguments lol?TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

oliveoyl, tough call. Not sure myself. I like the OS board really, but I can see how it would be a useful starting point for newbies or searching topics...God is good, all the time

I don't mean in place of here, I mean for the actual shopping.
If you post a shopping thread on Old Style, for example '500g soup mix is 2p in Sainsburys', it gets moved to the Shop But Don't Drop board, and promptly disappears off the page in no time.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Mr T's seem to be doing better on the Clubcard vouchers recently, I had a free Small Green Bag (35p), a 25p off fresh fruit, with no limit, points on home baking, points on organic food. Slightly worrying how much they know about what I spend money on...God is good, all the time

Spent money yesterday oops.
I went in sainsburys to get some flowers to put on my grans grave.
Passed the reduced to clear to pricey as I went around stood at the till and was seeing that it was being marked down again. Went had a peek spent £1.50 but got 4 x Pasta meals for 30p each but cost nearly £3 each and two cartons for soup for 15p each instead of nearly £2 each and split it down in to four portions as other wise it is too much and husband wastes it.
So I am now all spent out :rotfl:well my £100 for the month is. But I have a freezer and a cupboard full.
Yours

Well hubby is in a reme golf comp -so im not expecting to see him much befor 8pm  ..so a day of x stitch is the order of the day...so no meal to do for him... he will have toast when he gets in as he gets fed at the course
I have a bowl of dough proving..and that is as much as im doing :j .... Well apart from sewing/knitting and list making (all of which can be done whilst on my bum)
So im declaring a NSD for me today :T hubby is probably nipping me to do the bulk bits tomorrow -which im thinking of taking out of the "bulk pot" where i drop the odds n sods leftover from other months budgets...as its all stuff for winter time.... Although at the moment im craving winter meals..this weather is crazy
